Might be faster but it isn't better, all the play acting and writhing about has taken the real enjoyment out of what is essentially a contact sport.... Love rugby league for it

Oh mate! I've been saying for years that if you dive and it's proven unanimously by 5 ex players on a committee then it's an immediate 6 month ban.

    That would sort it.

Yes so many nancy boys play football these days. They are cheats and are pleased when they get a free kick or penalty. We at leeds have none in our squad.. Last one we had was Alioski and he soon learned better.

With the added benefit that we’d only have to see that twat grealish once a season.

Other things that should be punished, surrounding the ref and screaming in his face and imaginary card waving.

    What bamford incident… I can’t remember any bamford incident … I think you’re mistaken;)

It would be sad to see the end of the ayling flop though - a much loved phenomenon amongst the Elland road faithful.

That was subject to a trial whereby any free kick went forwards ten yards if that happened. Not sure how that trial went.

Not sure why everyone seems to feel the Llorente yellow card was wrong ?

Yes it was six of one and half a dozen of the other but the striker rolled him and would have been in on goal without Llorente bringing him down. Put it this way, if that was Joffy at the other end we'd all be saying what brilliant attacking play it was.

Cornet grabbed his shirt and pulled him down to the ground. That was the initial contact which allowed Cornet to roll him. After that Llorente had to bring him down which was a booking. If the ref saw the initial shirt pull then we get the free kick.

It was a tough decision and I can understand the ref missing it from his position but ultimately it was the wrong decision.

If, as you say, it was six of one and half a dozen of the other why does 2x3 require a yellow card but half of twelve doesn't?

Tierney is another ref that need’s demoting, they all form a ring around themselves, but it will explode soon and the one I want to see get fkd off is Mike Dean, horrible cnut he is.

He rolled him you say and the one thing we should have rolled was the bankroll to get the guy because he looks a bargain for the price the thugs got him for <cheers>

I missed the shirt grab when watching the replays. Tricky one, but maybe shows Cornets guile.

In fairness, the ref couldn’t have seen it from his view but as it led directly to the goal you could argue VAR could have reviewed it (regardless of what you think of VAR).

He did more neat passes into space when he had James to run on to them, hopefully he’ll continue to improve and James with his pace will get an extended run out there on the left
