Didn't they ask for it? You score a goal and over celebrate in front of a home fan base what they expecting the fans to do clap them and say well done.
What made it even worse Ice Cream Cornet went back and celebrated a 2nd time.
Okay I understand it shouldn't of been done but you can't over excite a large section of fans who are at the time are on a low.
I'm not saying don't celebrate your goal but to go to the Leeds fans in fact any fans is putting you or your own team mates at high risk of a object or incident.
It's common sense end of the day they are putting themselves in a caldron of hate that has a high percentage of a incident when you wind a group up. Human Beings have different tolerances.
I still say a brick would of been more sufficient lol

Didn’t they ask for it? NO mate no excuses, it doesn’t matter how or where you celebrate it shouldn’t have happened.

What do you get out of it, absolutely nothing positive you just heap more unwanted attention on your team and you get yourself a life ban

In this snowflake, PC world we live in the players shouldn't celebrate so close to the home fans. They should be told how to behave and not to wind the home fans up. The supporters are always told to behave. Personally I couldn't care less about the twat who got hit. **** him, I do worry about what those corrupt bastards in the FA might do.

Far be it for me to defend Roberts but I think it's a little unfair to say he ducked out of the way of the free kick when it didn't even go over his head. It was wide of the wall and he was trying to reach sideways and head it.

As bad as this season has been for us with only 4 wins and 19 points, its exactly half way and another bad second half ofbthe season and 19 points in all probability sees us safe. I also beleive we cannot be as bad in the next 19 games so expect a lot more points, and the swings and roundabouts rule means we get more VAR, more penalties, more opposition goals chalked off, more opposition players sent off. Inthink we will be fine now as more players come back and we will make signings

To be honest if the crowd are giving me **** and I score a goal I am celebrating for fun in front of them.

Fans shouldn't throw things to be fair.

If you dish it out, you gotta take it on the chin sometimes.

If you look at the stats you are rigtht. Dallas MoM then follows Harisson, Klich and Firpo. The four on the bottom was Forshaw, Meslier, Llorente and Roberts.

Forshaw was actually our fourth weakest player.

But agreed, the team looked to have more energy today

Interessting that you think Forshaw was MoM because the stats says he was our 4th weakest player and that Dallas was MoM:emoticon-0148-yes:

There's more going on in a game of football than pure stats. They are a good indicator but not the full story.

For example Koch today. He can shirk away from the physical stuff but he was tasked to mark Wood today. We know Wood is a handful and you have to wrestle and fight with him. Koch rose to the challenge superbly in only his 2nd game back after months out injured. Your stats might rate him at 6.8 but given outside influences his score should be much much higher.

Roberts might be getting knocked for his finishing today but he was absolutely key to that first half performance. What Burnley do is pin you in and launch the ball in the box from everywhere. Very physical and robust side and difficult to play against. Every time they threatened to get a grip on the game and push us back, Roberts showed for the ball, held it up, twisted and turned and allowed our deeper players to push forward. Then he laid it off and sprinted up front to offer himself again. That's massive against a team like Burnley. His stats probably show him missing shots or chances but his overall movement and hold up play allowed the likes of Dallas and Klich to catch up with play and dictate our attacks. He was exceptional today and although he isn't first choice for us we will miss his impact up top until Bamford returns and offers a similar service.
