That’s irrelevant. All that matters is 3 points Saturday to seal it, failing that we just need the teams below us to not get enough points to go above us. They all have tricky games as well. Millwall away to Burnley, Blackburn are away to Sheffield Utd, and Coventry and Boro are playing each other.
Painful to watch, the gulf in money and class is so evident. And they'll, in all likelihood be relegated next season. Soon, rather than later, this unfair imbalance which is killing the Championship has to be rectified. Fair play to our lads tonight they tried their best and kept going to the end. But sad to say we were absolutely outclassed.
Despite what they say, I believe/hope we’re saving ourselves for Preston. it was obvious we weren’t going to get anything away at Leeds. The squad is small and we are carrying knocks to key players, saved them for Preston.
That was a footballing lesson. Leeds were a class above - and we are not ready for the prem. We are gathering up crumbs under the table
Max was the only player to come out of that with credit. It could have been 5 or 6 without his saves.
you got nothing to fear after the Luton and Leeds showings. you could quite easily beat us we look shot.
I hate to admit that it was exactly the capitulation I was expecting and the performance from us was absolutely dire throughout the 90 minutes where we got 0ne shot on target at 92 mins. The difference between us and them is getting larger every season and the professionalism and class in the way they went about their business was impressive to say the least and is a true definition of a club that knows where it is going and how to get there, and that was to play every match as if you want to win and forget about the lower road where you hope to win. Bristol City are a long standing member of the second group and despite getting to this crossroad after some very questionable performances, including today where we dumped all of our GD advantage in one stinky load, we could very well miss out on the play-offs by a fraction all of which seems like the usual scenario when it comes down to true commitment.
