It's all very well throwing silly money around, but if those teams miss out on promotion they could go into meltdown. Unless they've rich owners with money to burn..
We went down that road & look how long its taken to get some stability. The difference now is that the cost of getting to the PL has gone through the roof. Trouble is, there isn't enough money in the Championship unless you've come down with a parachute payment. Will be interesting to see how Bournemouth cope were they to come down
I dont believe they will. Theres worse than them in the PL. Well likely have Sunderland and Villa as the big guns with us next season
Fair point, & I hope you're right. They have a good English Manager who will eventually & rightly move on to a big club.
It would have been unthinkable a decade ago to be discussing Bournemouth and Swansea as established PL clubs but its great. Just a pity we cant sneak in Boggers
