Now I don't want to build Eddie up anymore, but, I liked his passing and his defensive duties too.

He's one of them, that fast the defenders can't catch him to kick him.

    From the Brentford manager.

"I can't imagine, going forward, a more difficult away ground to go to than this one."

I loved the goal celebration, full of confidence, pointed at 32red and did the 'phone' thing, either meant bet on me to score or you can back me to be the league's top scorer <ok>

Good hard fought win for the lads tonight against a dogged Brentford side who look like they could do well this season,.
Eddie looks a different class and his link up with Costa could be our ticket outta here

Yeh, he made an initial run in to the space as we broke that put him blind side of the defenders. Costa took the ball early with the ‘wrong’ foot that likely caught the blocking defender off guard.

As an aside, it looked like a foul by Berardi on benrahma for us to pick up possession. Looks like their midfielder ran across the refs field of vision so he didn’t give it. A bit of luck we didn’t see much of last season.

Well that’s 2pts more this season than we got last in this fixture.
This kid from Arsenal looks the real deal, his run to create the space for Costa to slip the ball to him was clever, more to come from him.

That was my initial thought until I got home & watched the recording. It was actually a beautifully subtle piece of play by Bamford that drew their whole defence towards him, leaving Eddie totally freed up. Pretty sure he would have got the goal anyway, but it made it more enjoyable to see Bamford more involved than I gave him credit for in real time.

Great to have someone ghosting into the box though, isn't it? Can't remember the last player we had that did that consistently. McContract?

I’ve watched it a few times and don’t see that Bamford made a difference WJ. Their back line is turned and chasing back, they’re watching the ball. Bamford does what any good striker should which is attack the space to give costa an option, but the lad tracking Eddie, stops to get in position to block the cross, he can’t see Bamford. Good movement but didn’t impact on the goal in my view.

What made it, in my view was Eddie taking a good position but mainly costa taking it early with the outside of his left foot to beat Jansson’s attempted block.

Perfectly weighted pass from klich in the build up, something he does quite a bit of, often under the radar in my view.

So, well executed goal all round from a Leeds perspective

It was a question as I didn’t see the game and previous games this season I’ve thought Harrison looked great so just assumed <ok>
