Mike, you're confused mate. The buy back rate is what they charge you to buy them back off you and is always higher, no matter what the currency is, the selling rate to you is always lower than the buy back rate which is how they make their profit.

 

Approximate average exchange rates @ 11.30am

£1 = 1.30€

Anyone coming back from holiday and wanting to convert their euros back to pounds would get £1 for every 1.5€

Thats actually one of the oddest things i've seen on a football forum, well any forum really, coming from someone thats of an age that should know better.

 

To be fair he has posted much odder on many many occasions.

 

I feel a bit sorry for him and a bit sad really.

I'm trying not to feel like i'm bullying him, but i just don't like lying for the sake of it. Especially if its complete and utter blatant BS, thats fooling no one.

 

You cant bully someone who just wants to post rubbish and be provocative. just about everyone here has enough self awareness to know we all make mistakes but this bloke is just too stupid and obstinate to comprehend that he is wrong far more than he is right.
I am enjoying what will be his discomfort.
Some of the stuff he has thrown at ristac and me has been shocking.
I made some allowances out of pity but he just keeps coming out swinging. I can't be bothered to hide my contempt of him.

No double standards here, I will take the mick out of everyone without malice and accept that everyone will do the same back but at the end of the day its all harmless, and I would stand anyone from here a drink and just about everyone would do the same in return.
