Checked out the last few pages of the thread as I've been working so all I got was the talksport updates and all I read is Millwall fans posting their club's results. Is there a Millwall board? I could not give a flying fk about Millwall. I don't give a toss whether they are above us or get relegated. I know I'm new but I just don't understand why they're on here. Why not wind Charlton, Palace or Orient fans up? TC was the one that went soft because several people liked his comment... Contradiction or were you saying TC is soft and needs to man up?
Personally think he was being a bit sensitive,whatever happened to no one likes us we don't care no one likes me at all on the hull board,but that doesn't stop me popping over to piss them off. on the old bbc 606 the wall fans were nearly fighting over whether I should be allowed on their site.Our mods are never going to ban any of the Wall lads and that's all they should care about.Wallies needing to be loved whatever next.
This millwall thing has gone on for a decade because they have followed us up and down. It’s just yay boo. There are only 4 of em and they are easily put on ignore if they bother people. They don’t bother me cos I see it as pantomime he’s behind you stuff. There are plenty here that have spendt months saying how good we were and how crap they are. If the boot was on the other foot we would have done much the same. Seems I might have got in a bit too deep and expressed myself clumsily but I don’t think anybody should be unwelcome and it’s a sad state of affairs that people feel they need to leave after years of being here.
So all this you love them and will fight to the death for them,and you don't know how many there are,go on which one do you not even remember.
I know that but how are new members meant to know it. I remember asking the same question when I first joined and someone kindly pointed it out. I find some of the Millwall and LCW stuff hilarious and as Marcos pointed out, other times I think shut the **** up but it doesn’t mean I want the Millwall lads to leave. Gary asked the question why, he admitted to being new, he just didn’t understand and truth be known, it’s probably those that liked it that upset and got TC more sensitive over the whole thing than the guy who posted it.
Point taken. But perhaps it’s an idea to either get the lay of the land before starting with criticisms or perhaps start byasking the question by pm. The group have been together over many years and perhaps we are a bit over familiar.. There are times when I disagree with some of your stuff but I would defend your right to say it. I don’t get the idea that only Leeds can post here... Internet is very literal and things take on great significance that they wouldn’t over a beer/ wine/ coffee
As far as I know he is still here, still posting, still reading and I am not getting involved. If he chooses to stay or go is of no concern to me. That feeling is not reciprocated.
Truth is TC stuck the boot in on me once and the opportunity presented itself to at least in some small way exact some revenge. It was not personal as his post to me was but if you dish it out sometimes you have to accept a little dig in the ribs back.
For the next meet up shall we get a box so everyone is together in beer and harmony? Think they have a max of 12 people.
When you join something new I always find it beneficial to lurk in the background for a while to see the lay of the land so to speak, then maybe ask a few questions before going in with two great big feet which always has it's own repercussions as we have seen. This is of course my own considered opinion, but I am sure you will agree that I am right.
