Had a quick flick back and some people think Phillips was poor - get a job in comedy guys he was immense today
Probably getting the balance right. Roofe 100 times more mobile than Lasogga dragging defenders all over the place giving the attacking three more options, Vieira and Phillips breaking up play and providing link up play, it just all clicked today
Disagree, Vieira played better than Phillips, Vieira pushed forward more than Phillips, which Phillips rarely does any way, yet Vieira got a lower player rating, it's fixed. What do they call a blind, one legged pretend footballer that runs around in circles............Phillips...
And yet Phillips has five goals and a couple of assists (including the first goal yesterday) in about 15 games this season. Must have a hell of a shot and some amazing passing skills to do that if he never gets forward. Don’t get me wrong, I really like Vieira but think, maybe it’s you that has the fixed opinions!!
Well done Leeds United , nice to get that Monk off you're back . Gotta fight to get back to the top two , to many pretty good teams from 3rd down . Good Luck ..
I like him too Marcos, but yesterday was not one of his best days, he tried to place the killer pass too many times and they did not come off
Thought the whole team played well yesterday with the exception of one aberration from Ayling for the penalty. Only thing that pissed me off was the amount of time Alioski kept throwing himself to the floor and begging the ref for a foul. Got us into trouble;e a couple of times doing that when he could have moved the ball on quicker. That apart he played well.
Agree to a point mate but still think both were decent Sunday. Leadbitter and Howson would be considered pretty formidable in this league but neither shone for me. The kids did well
Forgive Ayling mate you’ll feel better for it. Personally, I would have wanted to nut Ayala for what he got up to never mind cuddling his foot. Anyone know if the ref or Ayalas lad (the one with the flag) are in any bother??
Sorry Marcos, you've misunderstood, still thought Ayling was excellent, just meant he made that one error of judgement (got suckered in there). Personally, and I bet it would have happened if it was a Leeds player, Ayala should be charged retrospectively for violent conduct as the ref and linesman missed it. I'll wait for the EFL to do that . No they want an explanation about the flags thrown
I know mate. Having watched the replays I just think Ayling was fully justified in having the hump. Think Ristac made the comparison with red cards in rugby, Ayala would be cited for two if not three incidents if that was rugby on Sunday - bet feck all happens
