Just to add, Phillips was marking Howson today, did you notice Howson playing? Phillips nullified him the entire game, do a quick search for player ratings, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone giving Phillips less than a 7

 

They did have there own cameraman following them around.

 

Didn't know Howson was playing says it all really.

 

Maybe there was a hen party going on?

 

Just my opinion Ristac, yes noticed Howson was playing....

 

Didn't think anyone had a bad game for us,but was very pleased with Alioski,and Jannson looking back to his best,Ekuban is so fookin fast if he learns the runs and getting on the end of passes we could have a star there.

 

So you noticed how little space Howson had because Phillips didn't allow him any, and yet Phillips goes missing and allows the opposition more midfield space than they should have

Seriously, if you look back you’ll see I did not notice Howson on the pitch Until about 75 minutes - I made a comment when I realised he was playing. If Phillips was marking him that died indeed say something.

Incidentally I never rated Howson, too Mr nice guy for my taste

 

Don't normally post on here (stay in f1 forum) but thought I'd get involved..

Was at the game... All great really... Lonergan kicking is absolutely woeful... Saiz was poor, Phillips did the dirty work and was amazing at breaking up play, my motm.

We're back to how we were playing a few months ago.. I think fatigue both mentally and physically and also the pressure of leading really affected them all! Hopefully now Chasing we can keep the right mindset.

Its like motor racing, it's weirdly easier to chase someone down than to keep ahead..
