Always tricky when you make a lot of changes At the end of the day we won and there were some bright performances
Thought we deserved that, Bolton had a few good spells, we aren't always gonna put performances in like our last two games rejoice lads a win is a win, we'd have got hammered last season
Job done, and when you consider a lot of this team haven't played together I thought the first half was very good. Some good back up players to his 1st eleven.
Bamford is going to be great and cant wait to see him and Roofe on together. Roberts didnt really get into it but thought Bamford did. Shackelton and Pearce are a bit light but fantastic prospects so Douglas and Pablo will be good to see them back, and Harrison was great along with Baker so Bielsa has the makings of a very good team. Did Saiz have a bit of a hamstring strain when he went off?
Exactly mate, Bielsa had a chance to see some of the new lads in a competitive game and we won, job's a good'un, Happy days,3 wins on the trot
The commentator was saying this is the fist time Leeds have won their first three games since Jimmy Armfield in 1974. What about 2007/08 in legue two when we won our first 5 games?
A very useful performance. Didn't see the first half which apparently was the better from our point of view. Thought Pontus came into the game in the second half. Looked like Bamford took his goal well but didn't see much else from him in the second half. Harrison aka Mr Tinned Peach looked tricky and pacy but didn't deliver enough for my liking but that might just be being too picky. Hope Saiz hasn't got a hamstring injury. All in all though it was great to get a third win and Bielsabub needed to see these players in proper action if he plans to use a relatively small squad.
