Ok i apologise, jeez **** knows how Minxy keeps up with this ****, i can't be asked with it, grown men
I am aware exactly how elland has played me. But it won't serve any purpose in holding grudges against the " grown man" super mod.... What was he said in the October nom thread. Truly the work of a mature ndividual at the top of his game. Ell will get his at some point.
On reflection, he has probably played Leeds60 even better - not that the silly old sod needed much encouraging. Now wumming is one thing, but stabbing your fellow board members in the back - brilliant >
Food for thought ... Win ratio in the league, Dave Hockaday 25% Uwe Rosler 20% Home record - won 3 points out of 15 (20% success) (and with better players, better coaching staff structure etc.)
I agree with most of Chippys comments................................after I found'em amongst his and 60's 100 year war battles...... Jocks comments were pretty much spot on too...... Where do I start, I should just copy/paste my comments from last game against Middlesbrough. My opinion of Rosler now is, he doesn't seem to have a clue what he's doing, not a single solitary clue. Out of all the players who played badly against Middlesbrough, Rosler drops Belusci and Botaka to bench, but keeps some midfield players that have been one of our main problems all season, and for most of last season. Maybe one day the penny will drop, or the Deutsche mark, or the lira, or the Euro. I've never been a fan of the lone striker formation, it reduces our striking abilities, and when we have a midfield that can't provide any service, or shots, or passes, then it makes the formation, as well as the striker look absolute rubbish, and that's where I feel sorry for Antenucci and Wood. Having said that I still think Wood is another Billy Sharp. Antenucci did more after coming on than Wood did the whole game; at moment Wood is showing why he's had a lot of clubs, in American terminology, Wood is playing like a limp wood. Buckley showed some spark occasionally with his touches and passes, he didn't have a brilliant first game but showed he could bring something to the team, probably needs a few games to get back into rhythm, hopefully. Dallas, more improvement here, he's wanting to get behind the defenders for the cross and it paid off a few times, a better showing from him. Botaka, again looks like he'll come on with more games, personally I think he should start. He had Birmingham's defenders worried a few a times coming in from, and down our right wing; looks to me like Berardi and Botaka are slowly getting in sync with each other which could prove to be a good partnership down our right side. What I find interesting is, some are talking about Botaka and his tricks/footwork, but slammed Adryan for his, very interesting. Imagine what can be with both Botaka and Adryan in team. Silvestri, seemed to catch the ball a lot more, didn't have a brilliant game but didn't have a bad one either, nothing much he could do about both goals. Taylor, not a bad game, seemed to be 50-50 for most of it but didn't do anything drastically wrong. Bamba and Cooper I think are the wrong pairing, Bamba needs to be rested and Bellusci and Cooper given a few games together. Bamba seemed to be imitating Bellusci a few times. Berardi, played well, this is a defender with his head screwed on right. Had a good game as usual, made a very good goal stopping tackle in our box and even managed a long shot (midfield take note). I nearly throttled Rosler for subbing Berardi untill I realised it was cos of the knock he took during the goal saving tackle. Well, we've had the likes of Cook, Mowatt and Byram linked with moves to PL, and while Byram leap frogged Cook and Mowatt, it seems Taylor may well leap frog all 3 of'em. Wouldn't be surprised to see Berardi linked with other clubs soon. All up, bit of a boring game, except for around 30 seconds towards end of game when Birmingham were attacking. Time to give the team a new midfield try, my players would be, Botaka......Sloth....Bianchi (if fit)......Adeyemi....Dallas.............if we must persist with a lone striker, or, Botaka.....Adeyemi/Sloth......Bianchi (if fit).....Dallas.................for a 4-4-2 formation. I think any combination of the above will do a lot better than what we have now. Others would be Erwin and Buckley, if either get enough game time.
Adrian was a show pony. Botaka had more tricks and flicks that came off and he created more in thirty minutes than Adrian did in six months. Possibly more important in view of the ****eness all around him when we lost the ball he tracked back and got a tackle in..... On reflection our midfield did get stuck in a little bit more, still nowhere near enough but progress is progress. It's a shame it made us even worse going forward.
I really rate Adeyemi and we definitely need him in the side to give Cook a bit more impetus NOT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Players like Adryan and Botaka are all classed as show ponies because they do things other players don't, the good thing is, they're not scared to try it, if it pays off it's a good move, if it doesn't then it's a bad move. Adryan had his moves that payed off and the crowd loved it, when they didn't he got a negative reaction. Botaka will have his moves that don't pay off too, it's part of football. I rated Adryan, would've been excellent potential for us, Botaka and Adryan in front of the opposing defence would've had them confuddled, both players know how to thread the ball through. While you may not agree Chippy, which is respected, it's a matter of opinion.
I didn't see the stuff you attribute to Adrian and I saw every minute he played for us. Must have been where I was sat. Botaka was exciting yesterday that's not something I recognised in Adrian. As a matter of interest where is Adrian now and how is he Getting on. Not a trick question btw.
In my opinion Adryan was a coward. Afraid to get stuck in for a fifty fifty. Not what's needed in Championshio
Adryan first game for Nantes he got a red card on 55 minutes. Since then looking at Nantes match stats he has been an unused substitute. Nantes sit second from bottom with just one win
I think my opinion of him has been vindicated and no I didn't know any of that before ristac told us.
