Can somebody have a word with Bielsa. He didn't need to go to these levels to get Millwall into the relegation zone !!!!!
Just watched it again too and brightened up the morning. We knew a defeat was coming soon and I suspect most of us are very curious how well respond. At least only a few days to wait
Good to meet those of you yesterday. My blog and photos can be viewed on http://www.followmeandleedsunited.co.uk/leeds-united-v-birmingham-22nd-september-2018-at-elland-road
Well talk about sunday morning coming down.taken the time to collect my fuzzy memory of the game.feel free to shoot me down if you like but i'm not happy still. we need a top goalie peacock is not up to standard for a top side we aspire to be.brum had bigger and more physical players than us and it showed.phillips who can mix it up was taken off which baffled me.because if that's his plan B then we are screwed every time we come across a champ side like them. Edmonson came on and added a big presence with his height and actual strength. Alioski continues to be a marmite player and harrison was inefective at best. our midfield needed setting up better for this type of game as we have been sussed and Bielsaball will not work all the time. Forshaw looked tidy and assured when he came on if we can get him and izzy firing then we will be a better unit. Badly midded Pablo and Roofe yesterday and as i suspected our squad is not big enough quality wise.
So that’s definitely a maybe He’s made mistakes here, and there have been a couple with question marks over the season. In other games he’s done really well. People seem to decide he’s rubbish or a world beater. Reality is he’s a talented young inexperienced keeper and he will make mistakes. Actually older talented experienced keepers continue to make mistakes too... we have benefited from mistakes from krul and butland this season. It’s an occupational hazard. If bielsa has decided he’s first choice, then we need to get behind him as the Twitter warriors do no players confidence any good. As for you pointing out his positional sense and indecisiveness, LL. I recall you giving a tutorial re Swansea’s second goal... a brilliant looping Mcburnie header. It was an interesting analysis but total bollox in my opinion. We all see these things differently.
Things may be total bollox to you milkyboy, and agree, we all see things differently. Remind me how long you played goalkeeper for, I've forgot.

cheap shot there lover please explain how you are an expert on goalkeepers.
Wasn't a cheap shot, I asked the question. Started playing goalkeeper at age 5, retired from playing at 35 yrs old.

You won’t have forgotten because I won’t have mentioned it. I don’t come and brag about my ‘sporting achievements’, I leave that to the keyboard experts. But no. I wasn’t a keeper. I do know a few though. Whichever, as our resident keeping expert remind me just how high a level you played at and coached at, so I can remember to doff my goalkeeping cap to you.

Yep. Forgot how Leeds losing totally ruins my weekend. Don’t want to watch the football, read the Sunday papers etc. Really important we respond positively, these are the same players who fell apart last season after one defeat.
Biesla said somrthing on the lines of only having a plan A, and working on that if it isn't working. Well he really needs to work on it more now, that's 3 of the last 4 games we've been out muscled and teams have stopped the flow, managers have done their homework and he needs to address it, 2 points from those 3 games and we'll meet more of those type of teams soon. Christensen didn't have the answer to our failings last season , hope MB does.
If your expertise is goalkeeping does that mean you shouldn’t comment on outfield players?
That’s a belting question that will take some serious swerving
That’s a belting question that will take some serious swerving
No, It means you can look at goals scored by, let’s say Chris wood for example, through the expert and highly tuned eye of a keeper with 30 years playing experience... and deduce they were all keeper errors, shinners or mishit attempted passes.
does that make you an expert then because i think the peacock is not up to it.he seems to have a problem getting down and seeing the ball. a few times already he has not seen what's coming and his reactions are poor.if i could or knew how i would put up all our goals conceded so far.i think it would be interesting to look and debate them.
Expert?.....I'll be humble and say not really, but it does make me very experienced. While I was playing in Army, the FA tried out their new playing rules and regulations to see if they worked before making them law in the FA/FL. Your comments are confusing Wakey, you asked if my playing keeper for 30 yrs makes me an expert, then you have a go at BPF......I'm not sure what point you're trying to make..........You obviously jumped on Milkyboys bandwagon to have a go at me, so, are you having a go at me, are you having a go at BPF, or having a go at us both?..........Having a go at both of us certainly doesn't make sense, nor justifies your bandwagon jumping. Also, I'll ask you the same question, how long did you play goalkeeper for, and at what level?
we need bigger and taller it's been said all season.my grandad used to say "a good big un will beat a little good un every day lad"
they looked knackered from the off yesterday over trained and not enough rest between games .hes overcooked them.
