    Bloody hell...almost.

Attempt saved. Junior Firpo (Leeds United) header from very close range is saved.

Great start to the new year no wins in 5 for Ipswich who can’t beat 10 men and still get shy in front of goal and Southampton slip up too. Ipswich 2 shots on target

Other results went in our favour today.

Would help if we can string a bunch of wins together now.

Positive day. good win against a awful team who's Manager will soon be sacked god knows why clubs think ex top name players with no coaching skills can go straight into top level football beats me. Lampard,Rooney,Gerrard work your way up from the bottom everyone else does.

great result puts us back in the hunt for auto's, but no more crappy away performances are what's needed. Now if we can get that sorted, then it's between us and Southampton for position two.
    NB
Only fly today, Leicester give udders a tonking as expected.

For me did ok, although did not have to deal with a lot, but i liked his kicking upfield which immediately put us on the front foot, found this refreshing instead of the dilly dallying passing it around from the back up front giving defences time to organise.

Well, no one is catching Leicester imo so 1 auto and 1 play off place in the Prem. Rutter MOM but I thought the replacements did ok. Firpo seems to be a wing back and he doesn't get a nosebleed when he gets in the box, which we need. Archie couldn't get past the first man. Of course he is suspect defensively but he rarely gives the ball away.
I thought Bamford looked sharper than usual. Dan James and Summerville are too good for most of these teams, Rutter is too good for all of them. How did Bacuna not get a yellow?
Great result but they were very ****.
    When is Rooney getting sacked?

Klaesson - 7. Good with his feet. Vocal. One underrated save 1st half and quick off his line at the start of the 2nd half in a 1 v 1. Solid confident performance.

Gray - 6. Looked a bit fresher. Did OK but lost the ball a couple of times to put us under pressure.

Rodon - 7. Nothing fazed or troubled him. Him and Cooper were too easy to split in 1st half. Remedied in the 2nd stanza.

Cooper - 7. Another solid performance under his belt. Wandered a couple of times.

Byram - 6. Picked up another knock as the games take their toll on his fragile body. Subbed early doors.

Ampadu - 7. Nice and easy in the holding position. Missed a sitter from a yard out and forced a save as he looked to break his duck for Leeds late on.

Kamara - 6. Neat and tidy and covered alot of ground but sloppy passing let him down a few times. Better sides would punish those.

James - 8. Great cross for the first goal and a solid contact to get his name on the scores sheet. A little messy in-between at times but put his body on the line in another all action shift for Leeds.

Summerville - 7. Looked on the periphery of things for the most part and his touch isn’t quite as sharp as it was earlier in the season. Very good finish for his goal and worked very hard throughout. On more than one occasion his run wasn't picked out.

Rutter - 8. The move to 10 gave him more space to operate and was a constant thorn in Birminghams side all afternoon.

Bamford - 8. Controlled his header very well and hit the post. Grafted and had a couple of nice touches to go alongside some baffling touches.

    Subs.

Firpo - 8. On early for Byram, 2 assists and hit the post with a header. Looked good in attack, had some dodgy moments at the back and tired badly towards the end. A really solid confidence boosting appearance but should never take another corner in his life.

Anthony - 6. Can't fault his effort but didn't really add anything to the left hand side.

Gnonto - 6. Got on the ball and tried to make things happen. For the first time this season he got his head down and ran at the defence earning a free kick. We need more of that.

Piroe - 6. Got his chance at 9 at last but didn't make it count. Couple of balls heading his way were blocked by defenders tbf.

Poveda - 4. Tried to hard to impress but it just resulted in us losing the ball. Just do the easy thing.

Well Mr FARKE will you now put your hand up and say you were wrong. Rutter at 10 creates and so whoever you put up top is going to score. Bamford can fit this new system and you still have Piroe. Klaessen maybe better than Darlow but you have tried to show him the door, in fact I rate him higher than Meslier and there was a reason Bielsa wanted him. Today you saw a Plan B mate

Rutter at 10 has been staring him in the face all season. The fact he refused to answer questions on the matter was a little big headed imo. Hopefully he's seen the light but it's worrying that it took him so long.

Agree with much of this but hard to judge Klaesson as we kept them pretty much away from our goal and they only had the one shot on target. Also my one criticism of Rutter is he showboats too much before the game is put to bed. Good header by Bamford but we all know he will miss a lot of chances that he should score from and god forbid he ever gets given the opportunity to take a penalty again.
