The doctor asked “this is the worst case I’ve ever seen, how did it start?’ And the armchair replied ‘it all started as a small fatty cyst on my cushion’
Despite this turning into a very poor season, I'm still getting that dread of when the season ends and we have all those weekend of no football. World cup is even going to slow up the transfer market so won't even have that excitement.
Howya Este.......yes it would be nice to get a win, but Barnsley will be up for this because it's a Yorkshire derby, they need the points, they hate Leeds United and they'd love to get one over on their ex boss.
Evening Shako, your right, they might be much more up for it than we are. Our season is over(was sometime back I know) I would really like to see the young lads given a chance.
Maybe a few of our strikers from the u23s, although I'd love to get those feckers nearer relegation, so a strong selection is needed, rather than wholesale changes..
Good news - I’m going to the game tomorrow Bad news - I have to watch this shower Good news - the tickets are free Bad news - I will never get those hours back Good news - I’m taking my son to see his first ever game Bad news - it’s likely to ensure it’s his last Good news - he doesn’t like football anyway he prefers dinosaurs Good news (I like to finish on a positive) If PML and grot play I may be able to convince him that at least he got to see a few lumbering brachiosaurus’
Doesn't matter about the game milky just spending 90mins with him dad and lad time is great. One of my best experiences with my son was when we got promoted from league 1 against Bristol rovers and when we beat Brighton last season on the Friday night. Memories neither of us will forget just being there together something money can't buy. Enjoy your day and hopefully the start of many more for the young lad
Have to agree. Best memories with my lads was taking them as young teenagers to Madrid & Valencia. Worst memory was the feckin' potato subs we ordered in Valencia. Shiit doesn't begin to describe them.
Morning all. Match day had arrived and for those of us that are going to the game the excitement will be building. That's why in my opinion going to games is not only the best way to support your team but you actually get something back from doing so. Whether that be quality time with your offspring, a chance to meet up with friends for a beer or perhaps just chewing the cud with the guys you normally sit with it all adds up to something that is greater than the sum of it's parts. On other words yahhhoooo come on you whites let's be having you. Apologies to you poor souls who will be suffering the tripe our beloved team will no doubt be displaying from the comfort of your own homes. Unfortunately the match in isolation is usually a disappointment but at least you have the banter on here to add something. Big thanks to elland and others who usually post links to streams for enabling your misery to continue.
Third option Jammy is what I’ve done. Tuned out for remainder of season. Couldn’t care less. 90% of current squad won’t be around next year, hopefully to be replaced by far better. Banter here is only remaining interest in season. Don’t know what that makes me and at my age I don’t care either before the usual plastic comments start
