I played at a high standard but through boys clubs and schools we were told play to the whistle, dont argue with the ref, respect the ref. In cricket its the same and in Rugby Union and League too. I remember playing cricket in the Yorkshire league and talking to an umpire whilst having a beer and he said we miss things through not concentrating, or a bug flys in your eye or something else. But when I put my finger up or say not out or whatever ruling Income up with nobody argues. When we move to better standard football however we go backwards. Todays mess will have no come backs for the ref, no VAR etc, but final whistle saw Jacko have words with the ref then he got all the team in a huddle and spent some time talking to them. I suppose there will be a referee report from Jacko and it may not be too complimentary but it will be water of a ducks back

Well no Gelhardt or Huggins but Rodrego is back and Greenwood will be on to replace Rodrigo I guess

Looks like Joffy and Huggins are with the first team Monday, but at least we get to see some first teamers and kids

Only caught the last 10 minutes but from that it looks like Dramah, Berardi and Rodrigo look on form.

    Half time
    Wolves 0-2 Leeds Utd
Both goals for Rodrigo and to be frank he scored a 3rd too with his head and ball clearly over the line but not counted. Easy stuff so far, Rodrigo, Kenneh, Cresswell and McKinstry and Drameh stand out players. Cresswell should have scored but headed straight at the keeper but his defending is superb. Charlie Allen doing ok

    Finished 2-0.

Charlie Allen had a great 2nd half.

Cresswell looks the better player between him and Casey everytime I see them play together. I think Caseys days at Leeds might be numbered.

    Full Time
    Wolves 0-2 Leeds Utd
Not a great second half with chances missed by Poveda, Greenwood hit the bar from a free kick, but he will feel let down by Poveda a couple of times who did the show pony instead of laying it off for Greenwood. The second half control was brilliant though with Cresswell, Drameh doing his usual solid work, Kenneh was awesome and nobody got past him all afternoon. Charlie Allen was orchestrating things in the middle.

13 points clear at the top now

    Was Rodrigo playing as a 9 or a 10?

From what I saw Berardi looked like he was a level above. Made it look easy.

Agreed and the way he announced himself within the first 5 minutes was like cleaning out a chessboard in temper. Brilliant to watch just swatted players away, took the ball and set up an attack leaving 3 big lads on their ass

8 minutes gone and Gelhardt is everywhere. Just seen him chase back from inside the Newcastle box to the edge of our box to tackle and win the ball. Brilliant stuff. Greenwood also flying around as No10 and doing a job. Koch and Berardi assured and Poveda has great feet and balance 0-0 so far

Koch is playing as a DM with Berardi at CB with Cresswell, which means Kenneh will replace Koch as DM and Casey will replace Berardi in the 2nd half

17 minutes Gelhardt wins a penalty and he takes it himself and cooly slots it away. Leeds 1-0 Newcastle
