Nightmare as usual in the second half. Skipper and leagues best defender goes off and the wheels fall off. Our best defender and attackers not on the pitch and yet another wasted evening

 

Jacko has a chance to redeem himself tonight in the EFL Cup away at Salford. Jacko could actually pick his strongest U23 team who all qualify as U21s and at least to go out in style. The first team dont play until Sunday so we get the chance to play Joffy, Summerville, Drameh, Cresswell for the full 90 minutes. Or will Jacko bottle it and try and play his best team on Friday away against Man Utd in the league. We all know some players will only get 45mins because of the first team on Sunday. When I was young I loved playing every day, so why not go for it tonight and on Friday with these kids

 

Would be nice to play our strongest side tonight and then hopefully stay in the competition, otherwise what was the point of entering seems as it's optional ?

Probably need to look at if Salford have a youtube Chanel as dont think they’ll allow LUTV in. Its been terrible this season as the club showed every match last season free but not this season and every away matvh they are chasing cash to view too

Just watching the lads warming up on LUTV...KO delayed until 7-15pm due to traffic issues.

 

No Summerville or Drameh so we have a few 17yo starting, so not ideal. Bate and McGurk to come on though

 

Its now 2-2 Joffy has created bith goals one for Max Dean and one for Sam Greenwood, but we have too many 17yos at ghe back and even with Cresswell there we are struggling against seasoned pros

 

Now 3-2 its just too easy for them with our young defence

Probably for them though as Cresswell and Joffy and Jenkins off to save them for the first team. Bate and McGurk are on though so we shall see
