Oh they'll get them all right shaks. Same as fiasco last time we did admin. It's the small local businesses that will be made suffer as usual. Batty Kelly etc all held out for their last penny last time round. It's a disgusting rule that players get paid ahead of other creditors regardless what other businesses could be forced to suffer
I think until the T/O happens or Cellino is refused BMD won't be going anywhere. Which Manager in their right mind would want to come in knowing there is a possibility of Admin & a points penalty with no obvious way to bring new players in during the off season.
Eire, let's not forget that it's a 'football' rule which the club is obliged to conform to. Just for once, we can't blame the club for something.
True, but it's the club that fails to pay the small, local businesses in the first place before going into admin. And I'm surprised that HMRC have let football get away with this rule for so long.
Ita a rule Jock that needs challenging. Footballers on 20k a week collect every penny while small business owners earning maybe a few hundred quid a week get shafted all the time. Ive seen it all over the place over here and it disgusts me. May be legal but definitely immoral
Can't see McD going anywhere while GFH are the owners as they won;t take liability for paying off his contract. Not exactly clear whether they even bother with looking at results. I reckon he will be sacked a) once the t/o goes through by Cellino, or b) once someone else takes over but they may give him some time c) once administration comes in There will be a massive queue of managers jumping at the chance to manage LUFC, as always, but with Cellino, we don't know if he will even put it out there, or just bring in someone as a coach while doing the managerial role himself.
Compensation will not be an issue if McD is sacked. These things take at least six months to sort so won't affect gfh, they'll be long gone and it'll be someone else's problem
For the people that haven't seen the highlights. http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/leeds-2-reading-4/ The first goal is really comical stuff from U 11 kids games
