Mate, we didn't have a shot on target, that ain't giving someone a game, that's giving someone a free ride
Nevertheless they and especially their crowd were getting pretty nervy late on when they were only the goal up. Normal I guess.

Can we realistically expect any of our injured players back for the Stoke game? Hard to tell seeing as we're told **** all. I think Fox is apparently closest, Dembele and Chair are proper ****ed but no idea re JCS, Paal and Frey. It would be nice to have Michi back.

And Colback. But he had an op. so doubt he will be back for Stoke

It was better than those stats suggest. Not great still and chances are if we’d taken a chance they’d have gone up a gear. Would have been nice to have given Lloyd more than ten minutes and Kolli more than zero minutes and gone down with a bit of a fight having stayed in the game with the crowd getting a bit tetchy and half an hour to go but we brought on Bennie and Madsen (MADSEN) instead because because.
These were my thoughts. Meslier was static for Dunne's header and Field's tap in, so either of those on target and it was 1-1. Additionally if Celar was a striker there was a tap in from a great run and cut back by Alfie, and a great a cross by Smyth neading a near post run, of course neither happened. He also had an opportunity to bend one into the far corner with considerable time to pick his spot and ballooned it over. Crowd would have gone as apart from a 10 minute period in second half Elland Road was a library. Great support from travelling Rs though. Bob totally right about tactics though. Saito and Lloyd both had the beating of Bugle but instead of loads of opportunities for balls down the line or over the top 9/10 ball played back to CBs. Haven't got a clue why Lloyd doesn't start, my honeymoon period with Marti certainly over

Byram, a mediocre player out of position, got booked early on and we then spent 80 minutes not having a go at him. For quite some time our ineptitude has been matched only by our stupidity.

Being dreadful for 89 minutes to the extent they got bored then let one in when half-asleep in injury time was our best bet so maybe it was the plan all along.
