Credit to Eddie Howes team. They came for the win and even with 10 men at 1-1 they brought on Pitman. You could put the house on it that McDermott would have shut up shop at 1-1 away from home down to ten men, as most over managers would! Boggers, I think Diouf and Smith were coming on before Poleon scored and we then decided to shut it down
I can see why Smith wouldn't have come on, but I still think it ws made for Diouf to come on, hold the ball up, spray passes around, make sure we kept the ball in their half and near the corner flag etc.
