Our noisy neighbours must be looking forward to a potential double next meet ? That may be the end of duff ? Hope we turn it around by then !
I suspect that if we lose to Huddersfield and Rotherham in the next 2 games, Duff may be gone before Christmas
Exactly. There's no unfortunately. It's take a punt on the next lamb to the s... hopeful to step up and fingers crossed.
I’d consider John Eustace - the guy sacked by Birmingham so that they could appoint Rooney. Wasn’t he offered the job before Russell Martin was appointed? He did a pretty decent job at Birmingham - weren’t they 6th before they appointed Rooney? Additionally, there’s Michael Beale who had QPR near the top of the Championship during his brief spell there before he was lured to Rangers. Obviously, things didn’t go swimmingly in Glasgow this time around although they did ‘well’ when he was Gerrard’s number 2 previously: indeed there was (allegedly) talk that he was the ‘leading light’ on the Managerial team there. There are obviously others. The initial optimism that I had when Duff joined has largely evaporated - I thought that he was going to be a ‘sound’ football choice after what some thought was Russ’s ‘personal marketing bravado’ ….
I predicted that we would finish bottom half of the table, but not bottom of the bottom half! seriously we are ****!............
I always plan my trips back in line with a home game or tywo - keep waiting for the time when I actually would want to see them play!
