nah Tom, stand by your guns and ask him to prove otherwise I’m buying the “we would have won” with my Chelsea mates
Any news on Djenepo? In the post match he said he felt good but he might have a different view this morning! He took a helluva beating yesterday and may need resting - in which case, Armstrong in and keep the side otherwise the same. Special mention for Redmond yesterday - he did really well and although I prefer Adams (for his physical presence) Redders did enough to keep his place. Bringing Adams fresh legs on later in the game might just work. Also, we need to give some of these youngsters more game time (but not at the same time!!). The bench is starting to look stronger because we are getting used to them actually making a contribution when they come on.
I'm not saying this is a must win, but with the gap between us and the bottom narrowing it pretty much is! Leeds will at least try and play football so we may get something from this one
I worry for you Lincoln. Do you open the curtains in the morning to see blue sky and sun, then run to the back of the house to look for the dark clouds and rain? We are an above average to pretty good Premier league team that has had some injury problems and thus some poor results. Players are coming back and we will be fine.
Just a quick one guys. What was the news on KWP? Been out of loop of late. I'm guessing he'll miss this?
His first couple of games he looked a bit like a headless chicken but he's calming down a bit. His height, speed and his physical presence suggests there is something there once he adapts to the EPL. Certainly seen an improvement since he first appeared. At the end of the day though, a striker needs to score goals and he needs to add to his Shrewsbury goal fairly soon to boost his confidence. Watts, Tella, Jankewitz (apart from the red...) are starting to catch my eye more ATM.
I like Tella a lot, he's quick and direct. Jankewitz will be desperate to make amends for his utd shocker and he's a player, no doubt. Agree, these guys need more minutes.
Yeah pretty much! The glass is always half empty, and the light at the end of the tunnel is usually a train coming to run you over... Win against Leeds (which I think we will) and we'll probably be ok, if we don't we're right back in amongst it if Fulham keep picking up points
