So one question. Do we now believe that the U23s are on the bench simply to make up the numbers because we run with such a small squad but realistically have no chance of getting any game time?
Should have scored that last effort. So we see Roberts and Shakleton nothing changes we may as well not have any u23s.
My stream froze as they were checking the pen in injury time. It looked to me like Delph went in with studs up which should be dangerous play. What was the decision?
I have to ask what Rodrigo has done, has sent sext to Bielsa daughter or raped his wife? Shackelton and Roberts appeared and as usual had no impact on the game. Hardly mentioned but as usual when Roberts had a chance to do the right thing ……. Sirry but cannot get my heqd around bringing those 2 on Bamford should have had a last gasp penalty
Because of the “other stuff” Bamford does you just know Bielsa isn’t going to sub him for Rodrigo. You know the first substitute is always going to be Roberts on for Firpo (was Alioski) and Dallas move to LB or Klich off, there just isn’t anything creative or exciting. It’s always the LB and Klich position which gets changed.
What have we leant Meslier is worth his weight in gold Bielsa must have told Raphinha to come in field Cooper is a liability
IDK what game you were watching, we created two chances and scored both. Everton created more chances but Meslier was equal to most. Their attack was far sharper - I shook my head in disbelief when Bielsa brought on Roberts and Shackleton. For the second game in a row Bielsa fielded a f***&d up formation and we nearly got beat - I'm sure Everton fans will say SHOULD'VE got beat. Three at the back doesn't work for us. Especially without our best defender - Llorente. Cooper looked out of his depth - I hope Llorente is back soon Firpo ? You can see why Leeds didn't want Alioski to leave - hopefully he'll get better Up front, you have to say Gareth Southgate was right in choosing Calvert-Lewin over Bamford for the Euros. Klich & Dallas are Championship players and we need better players in the middle to kick on this season. But Everton are pretty good and we'll face much poorer opposition in the season. Altogether, happy with a point. Not sure Everton will be as happy.
1) We can scrape a first team 11 but after that unless it’s a defender we have nobody Bielsa deems suitable yet we refuse to strengthen. 2) We’ve wasted £28m on Rodrigo, everyone on Sky raving that £25m on Danny Ings was a no lose gamble 3) Somebody at Leeds feels the likes of Lang and Nahitan are too expensive. 4) We shouldn’t worry though as we have some guy from Huddersfield set to join and strengthen midfield and let’s not forget we can fall back on a great selection of U23s to make the bench look good, just don’t expect them to play
IDK how Cooper could've been so pissed at the decision, it was a penalty all day long Had that been on Bamford in their penalty box, we'd have been screaming for a penalty.
Not watched today but read the summary from a few places. We got hammered by Scum. Same as last year but they played extremely well. We drew with an Everton side who beat us at home last year. We had two 50/50 games with Everton last year and today sounded similar. All in all it looks like we are about the same as last season so far.
