I've booked you in at Specsavers...the one next to Primark so you'll know where it is. Time to be be honest here because the temerity of your post is quite outrageous, especially coming from a man who dresses like Steptoe's brother.
That Sir is below the belt. We both know that I have a medical condition that prevents me from applying such products to my fair skin and to suggest otherwise is quite frankly slander. Thank God I was sensible and only applied to the teeny, tiniest test area otherwise hospitalisation would have surely ensued.
He'll be claiming to have to wear baggy suits for a different reason if we carry on like this Maybe they just look baggy for the wrong reason!!
Blabbermouths the pair of you. I'm going to sulk in the wine cellar, need somewhere nice and quiet to think while Mrs Jammy is doing her major and minor scales with some strange person who looks nothing like a voice coach. Seems she's being having trouble with her semitones but the thrice weekly lessons are doing their trick apparently.
Personally I think you underestimate Bielsa’s loyalty and admiration for Cooper. I believe he’ll be first pick except for when injured or suspended.
Bielsa is a pragmatist. He makes decisions based on what he sees, the moment he feels Struijk is better for the team than Cooper, captain coops will be dropped. I don't think there's an ounce of sentimentality in him.
In fairness I didn’t say sentimentally, I said loyalty and nothing I’ve heard from Bielsa suggests he’s thinking of dropping Cooper. You’re right, that may change
Actually a very good point WJ. I’m not sure he’s a pragmatist, doesn’t he prefer high risk v high reward attacking football?
He's a very complex man, as I encountered the first time I met him. (Barsteward wouldn't let go of my hand & as the handshake got tighter & tighter, he had a maniacal look on his face, yet the biggest smile I've ever seen from him). No words, but a huge amount of jollity. I would imagine that he is indeed a pragmatist, as all football managers have to be, but as you say, he's a high risk footie gambler, unlike most. At the same time though, I think he is undoubtedly sentimental. I just think of Bamford scoring that worldie at TA & Bielsa running over the pitches to get him for a big hug. Can't remember any other manager in the papers for enthusiastically hugging a player on the training field. I still think back to the likes of DoL, who towards the end, rarely, if ever, set foot in the training ground. He felt it was the pragmatic thing to do for him (wrongly imo), yet at the same time, fondly used the term 'my babbies' when talking about his players.
My view is that Bielsa demands total commitment both on and off the pitch. If you give him that total dedication to your profession then in return he backs you to the hilt. In other words, don't expect Cooper to be dropped anytime soon.
I know Llorente is good I can see his skill but if he is out injured alot of time through being injury prone it won't help leeds we need cover anyway at left back and he might bed in as centre back thus saving leeds alot of money
But do you see either of those clubs selling one of those players to us, especially as one is at a CL playing club and has just signed a new contract. I thinknyou need to be more realistic with your targets bud
How much we pay for Llorente ? 18m we could easily buy a very good Left back or central defender , if Leeds can shore up Leeds defence and stop leaking goals Leeds have a great chance of finishing in the top 6 and that includes putting hap hazard Cooper on the bench .
