Hall knew I'd forgotten someone. I'm not convinced he's up to it to be honest. I'd love to be proven wrong, and I think he deserves more of a chance, but I just haven't been impressed with him so far. No idea why we recalled Poleon. Would've understood if Becchio was injured and McCormack suffered a set back in his injury, because that would've left us with just Gray and Diouf. But he's not really ready for this level and he was doing well at Bury. Don't see the logic bringing him back because we don't really need him?
What position did he play? Last time he played as a LW which he isn't. He is a striker and we shouldn't mess around youngsters by expecting them to do more than the average player can and play about 4 different positions. He doesn't seem to have any defensive attributes
Why is everyone talking badly about how Hall has played anyway, first half vs the Wall he was probably our best attacking threat. He didn't do too much admittedly but then no one did and whenever he had the ball at least it seemed like something was gonna happen. I reckon he would benefit from playing on the right while Thomas is on the left, it'd give him less pressure as there is someone else in the team creating and the opposition wouldn't focus on him as much. He definitely deserves another chance imo
Josh, Thomas was immense on the left, both going forward and tracking back doing his fair share of defensive work. Poleon came on and was played out on the left, as you say not his true position, and didn't track back nearly as well, leaving the equally out of position Peltier exposed As for Hall, he wasn't used on Saturday, but he deserves a lot more time before he's written off. Really worth persevering with Hall on right and Thomas on left
Agreed, I thought Hall was a real bright spark against Millwall. Let's have a threat on both wings again.
I thought he had subbed our 2 best players from the millwall game, drury and hall! Can't understand why he brought Poleon on when Palace had just moved Zaha to that side. He got absolutely skinned for their goal and every single leeds player abused him felt sorry for the kid tbh Zaha is one of the brightest prospects in the division and warnock puts a young striker on that side to mark him. Then makes an example of him by subbing him off 8 minutes after he subbed him on
Not going to do his confidence much good. Subbing him didn't even waste any time cos he actually ran off the pitch
You lot still have three London clubs (and Watford) above you in the table! - and you haven't started your 'post Christmas' implosion yet!
Anyone else getting annoyed that people are saying it was Sam Byram who fouled Zaha in the box(when he dived like a little pussy) it was actually norris Byram was outstanding
Yeah watch the video again sam byram is stood further back with Norris committing himself to the tackle, I thought it was a penalty at first from my seat in kop but don't think he was helped by the fact that their centre back had dived theatrically just a few minutes earlier n got booked
