Byram had Zaha tucked up all game class performance, green solid tonge better in cm Tate dictating the defence, Thomas a cut above, Becchio won headers atmosphere a million times better :)

Palace came to the King Power and made us look chumps for the first 35 minutes, but that was during our recent mini slump, thankfully that is over now and we are getting some good results on the back of effective performances again - Are you saying your slump is over after one narrow win?

It's just banter mate, I don't necessarily think we'll win, and I certainly don't expect us to to. But hey, things are looking better, can't blame a guy for being optimistic!

I think we'll win. But we're Leeds and we have a divine right to win.

Glad to hear it, he won't be happy that your win sent the cardiff scum top though. I hope he's still with you when you play them next, he'll be right up for that :D

A big thanks to the Northern Monkeys!!

I don't care how lucky you were, but taking 3 points off of one of our promotion rivals was much appreciated <applause>

That's the important factor, now we need to see if we can string it together and put in at least 3-4 consecutive good performances. If we get outplayed by a better team fine, as long as each of our players give it their all, something they had not been doing up until yesterday.

We have yet to win a game by more than 1 goal this season so all our wins are "narrow" even though we dominated yesterday lol

Tbf it was an even game, we were never gunna dominate against the league leaders, we got the breaks and took the chances which hasnt happened in recent weeks.

Pleased to see us play with more width. hopefully thomas can be our gradel

Exactly. Look at Becchio's goal as the main example; it may have been a scrappy 6 yarder, but it's the kind of goal he hasn't scored this season because we haven't been putting the ball in the box regularly.

Which has been one of my main criticisms, Becchio comes alive in those situations yet we having been playing that way, before last week we weren't even playing with a natural wide man. We haven't been playing in a way that suits any of our players really

To be fair the problem is all of our wide players are ****. Diouf is an excellent footballer but he's not got the pace he used to. White has pace but no footballing brain or ability. Tonge isn't a wide player. Green can do a job on the right but again, more of a central midfielder. Varney is just hopeless full stop. But Thomas, he's a natural, direct wide player with both pace and footballing ability. Which is what we needed desperately.

Agreed, and to add to that, the jury is out on Hall, who really hasn't had a chance to strut his stuff yet.

Btw, haven't heard anyone mention Poleon's (lack of) contribution on Saturday. I thought he was completely anonymous, right up until he failed to cut out the cross which cost us a goal. No surprise the sub got subbed after that performance. And yet some people were screaming out for him to be recalled. He was hardly our saviour, was he? Just a wee boy with a lot to learn. Should go back out on loan, I think, for all our sakes.
