Hell of a game. Leeds could and should have won it at the death.

What a touch from Tomlin. Morro's foul innocuous but if last man then a red.

That's the sort of chance where Glatzel will succeed.

Bamba should be available next week if needed.

    Just in time for Christmas.

Stupid penalty to give and an innocuous sending off.
    Great finish by tomlin????
Good finish by glatzel running off the defender's shoulder. :emoticon-0148-yes:
    More of the latter please.:emoticon-0137-clapp

Things to build on, issues to resolve.

The penalty was a bit soft....he was never going to get to it. And the first goal was pretty well route 1. but the fight was there evidently.

I never understand why keepers do that. The worst that would have happened would have been a corner. Even so it was a dive by Bamford.

Well I rest my case about city being a second half team, they were dreadful for 45 mins but I do think this team is never beat ,and for gods sake give Tomlin a long contract before someone comes knocking on his door.

I cannot understand why Harris didn’t have Nelson in the starting line up. He has (in my opinion) done a great job since he came into the starting line up. He is composed, intelligent and has pace our central defence has been crying out for.
He may get an extended run now Flint has been injured. Even though Morro has just come back from injury, why did he need to start? The first Leeds goal was all about pace and our midfield and central defenders were found wanting.
Having said that, I didn’t think we’d offer much of an attacking threat and the 1st half bore this out. Had Leeds been more composed and clinical, they could have gone in 4 up.

Tomlin was immense at times and must be wondering (as I am) why he wasn’t given a chance when we were in the Premier League.

    Rant over.

Just saw the highlights on Quest.

On 2nd watching, the penalty looks less a penalty. Etheridge was pulling his arms away and the guy was dropping to his knees before contact.
However, the sending off looks more a red card. The sort of tackle we'd have salivated over if Dwyer in his pomp had executed it.

There was no analysis of either though. Different angles or slow mos might gave helped.

Ah well, a correct result and correct scorer for me (I went 1-1 not 3-3 though), Tomlin the scorer.

    Leeds are falling apart again.!!!

    Never a red.

    Penalty a dive.

Saying that it was a clear pen 1st half.

Love to hear this being sung at the games.
It’s been a while since Peter Thorne had it so time for someone to take it over

“ Oh Lee Tomlin is magic, he wears the magic hat.............”

I think Bamford was looking for an opportunity to go down (unfortunately just like every other forward in the league)

Why the keeper decided to dive in, I'll never know, Bamford was running out of pitch.

Your third goal outstanding. Tomlins flick was amazing, and great natural finish by your substitute.

I have to say Tomlins goal was a bad cross, which happened to be on target instead, but unless you try, you don't get.

Your aerial threat is something you need to make more of imo. You've got a great crosser from the left, and plenty of big lads who like getting forward who know where the goal is!!!!

Fair comment Matt. We were played off the park by you for an hour, but once our first one ((fluke?) went in, your guys **** themselves.

Toughing single games out is our forte - historically, toughing seasons out is not yours. Let's see how this pans out.<ok>
