In fairness it wasn't the Delph or Smith signing predictions that convinced me, because those could have been lucky guesses, but his claim that, out of nowhere, we were interested in Mark Wilson from Celtic. Suddenly the next morning all the papers were filled with talk that Wilson was set to sign, although that eventually fell through. From my countless days scrawling through these rumours I think I've started to get a pretty good eye for which have actual substance.
It's always seemed weird to me that they've complained about player's attitudes and Kasper's never come into it, unless he's done a complete U-turn.
He's a fabulous player. Possibly the best Goalkeeper we've had since we were getting top 10 Prem finishes with Kasey Keller. So if you did experience attitude problems with him then it goes to show that players can change and Mills may change for you. But we were warned by Reading fans in the summer that he's a twat.
He sounds like a slightly better Darren O'Dea with an attitude problem. Don't know what to think, but I don't buy Basingstoke Royal's accusation that he's one of the worst defenders in the league. He was always highly-rated at Reading and even Donny and a load of Premiership teams would have had him. When you look at some of the dross we've got, you've got to give him a chance, but it doesn't look like his mental character is good, and that's what we really badly need.
Schmeichel is class (I was against the signing at 1st) problem with him is he´s too good (getting) & no doubt prem clubs will be watching his progress, Maybe even a certain MANC POO.
we will not be signing Mills says Gwyn Williams, well unlikely. Player will lose to much money but other 'good' irons in the fire. Tweeted from Andrew Haigh
I've seen plenty of goals n the highlights show when schmeichal was at fault. Maybe he is great everywhere else but most of the time at fault for your goal
Ahh, if only life was that simple, just as the simple answer would be to send Bates to charm school, because that would work wouldn't it!
