Can Warnock see off another young manager like the double he got over Lee Johnson and the Wurzels? (Adge Cutler was unavailable <laugh>)

Earlier in the season against Leeds at the CCS it was the "younger" Trollope who flunked out. Monk and Trollope were both in line for the elbow at the time but Monk turned it around with that win and Trollope was history.

Now it's a different type of side under Warnock - maybe much the same players but far more desire. Can the old warhorse Warnock turn that upside down?

Eddie Gray told LUTV............

"I don't think we'll have to be patient. I think we will be too good for them.

I'm going for a resounding victory: I'm going for three or four.

I think we will really turn them over and it will be good for the side to win a game comfortably and look forward to the rest of the season"

0-0 HT. All going to Warnocks plan then so far. As expected Leeds the better side but apparently Halford should have stuck it in the back of the net from a Noone free kick

I didn't have the guts to say so on here before the game but I had a couple (or 3) wagers on the game today to back up my prediction thread result.

20 quid on City winning @15/4
5 quid on Morrison to score @ 11/1
8 quid on Zahore to score (just as a back up <whistle>) @10/3

£184.67 in the bin..........<party>

Nice one Sparkey.

We sent Leeds on their downward spiral and this result could have a similar effect again.

They were crap at our place. This result shows what could have been if Tan had appointed a decent manager in the 1st place.

If we'd had Warnock from the start we'd be in play off contention. We still wouldn't go up (because we lack quality) but that's where we'd be.

Normal service resumed v Leeds!

Excellent performance from the whole team.

Thoroughly deserved the win.
Glad it was on the Internet:1980_boogie_down:as otherwise I wouldn't have believed I'd witness such a competent and disciplined display.

ps Leeds another top 6 team who were nothing special.

WOW, just got in after watching the Wales game, what a result ? not so bad day after all.

And on to Direby. Will Colin change a winning team and/or tactics?

Despite losing to Leicester and not fielding a first string they looked useful and attacked with pace. Will by up for it after coming back to get a draw with the Wurzels.

Will Halford start again? Still looks below par.

Ive been told Halford had a very good game.?

WoL's assessment not so complimentary. Not that he had a bad game just not at the same level as the others. He will probably improve given more game time.
