Are some of you saying that Dave Jones bought on some of the **** chants upon himself? The man is just as innocent as me and you the person writing it, as the court proved with not a single bit of evidence against him.

I hope it was a joke? Because Jobber is no thug! But in truth we all have some people who disgrace our clubs, and when they do they disgrace football. This will not help the call for standing areas or for a Leeds takeover.I think the best thing for the Leeds fans would be to unite and to condemn the guys action. This at least would gain sympathy to prevent tough action from the FA.I do not want them banned from the KP they always add to a great atmosphere.

This is how i perceive it as well, no-one stopped him walking up the stairs afterwards, if the fans had any sense, they would have pinned him to the floor and waited for him to be carted off by the police, if it was a Leicester fan i would have grounded him.

Any youtube video will show you about 30 fans down in the walking area and 8-10 had jumped the barrier, so it cant be blamed on just 1 stupid fan as anyone stupid enough to cross that board could have been arrested.

Saying all that, i think Wednesday will be fined as well, as that crowd control was pretty much non-exsistant.

To be fair I do hate Warnock but thats not what he said, he said he went down like a ton of bricks and the most that can be made of the incident the better. And then he went on to say that he should be jailed

Some things Dave Jones says i agree with, but it does sound like a man that is obviously extremely pissed off.

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...way-ground-following-attack-on-Chris-Kirkland

    Agree:
o "Shouldn't have clapped/waved at them at the end" that moron was still there, so they shouldn't have gone over.
o "Animals". a few that should be banned, that moron for life.
o "What happened if Kirkland stays down" could have called off the match and given Wednesday the 3 points imo, would serve the disgraceful fans a lesson.

    Disagree:
o They should be banned as a whole.
o Lumping the fans together isn't fair, but have no idea what the chant was about.

The chanting, as far as Im aware was comparing Dave Jones to Jimmy Saville

I'm not being funny but if we are picking on chanting are we gonna be picking on the wednesday fans for the Turkey chanting?

It's a worry that so many of you can't tell the different between a point being debated and a daft one-liner.

And Gangta, if you compare me to Savile again, I'll track you down and put a bat up your nightdress.

Anyone remember our 1985 FA Cup tie against (the then non-league) Burton Albion played at Derby's Baseball Ground, when some LCFC fans threw missiles at the Burton goalkeeper causing him to need treatment. He recovered and was able to continue, I think we went onto win 5-0, but the result was voided by the FA and the game had to be replayed behind closed doors which we eventually won 1-0.

The then Burton manager hammered the City fans and called for a replay, although he didn't say that his goalkeeper "went down like a ton of bricks".

The then Burton Manager - Neil Warnock Esq.

It's a difficult ploy to master, that mix of lofty Self-Righteousness and Brazen Inconsistency, but its one that Mr Warnock pulls off effortlessly! <grr>
