Although I'm judging the Alex Bruce that played for us and to be fair he played a season with flapper schmeichel pissing around at the back of him.

He was prone to individual errors which cost goals. But then again, defence hasn't been our strong point for a few years now and he wasn't the only one. He's clearly now playing in a better defence at the moment, and unless you're really tosh he would look a better player anyway. If you catch my drift.

That's the point, you haven't watched Bruce play this season, so to say he would currently be fifth choice at Leeds is unsupportable. AB is keeping out Faye who would probably start for Leeds and before that he kept out McShane who is having his best season for us.
Alex Bruce has hardly put a foot wrong for City, he makes countless important interceptions, heads danger balls away and plays to his strengths.. if Row Z is required, he'll do Row Z. I've been very impressed with him. He's also a brave lad & we appreciate him.
Bruce was in a **** defence with Schmeichel behind him, glad to see I'm not the only one thinks that Schmeichel is over-rated, great saves but a disaster in other areas
