You really are an idiot, try to actually take part in a discussion rather than simply insist your own view is right and everyone else is just inventing excuses. Everything Chesh said is a fact, we do have more than our fair share of idiots, but then you still see countless opposition fans at Leeds games doing the best they can to wind those idiots up because of the reputation, which causes them to react so some fans go home talking about those vile scummy Leeds fans kicking off again and so the cycle continues.

You get no more grief than anyone else, I have been to Leeds games and there are large and numerous groups acting like morons, shouting, spitting, swearing and general antagonistic behaviour with no-one around but families and opposing fans clearly not looking for trouble.

Stop talking rubbish, your defending the indefensible and coming over as the true "idiot".

In fact you'd better pipe down because the more of you that are commenting on this the more you are reinforcing everyones argument for them.

In terms of trouble, nastiness and hooliganism, we (Ipswich and Norwich) pale into insignificance compared to the MIGHTY LEEDS.

not paying 100% attention to the opposition goalkeeper. Nobody in the leeds end spotted what happened and they presumed Kirkland had injured himself trying to save the shot.

Also the Leeds fans who where at home watching on tv named him within minutes.

If the police wanted to arrest him there and then they would have but they obviously werent in a rush because they waited days to go round to his house.

Don't kid yourself a) Your minority exceeds 1% by some distance and b) It is far less than 99% who are embarrassed.

You've no argument to make, neither of you realise the bad feeling your club emits, nor care to be honest.

Just carry on as you are until the next incident, and the next, and the next, and the next.

If a thread appeared on the Leeds board saying "Ipswich are vile scum" would you just let it go or would you comment? If they said it about Watford I'd be in there like a shot. Why would you expect leeds fans to be any different when this stuff appears on your board? In the case of Simon all I've seen is him agreeing that the club has a bad element but equally that the whole support shouldn't be tarred. I don't really see why anyone would have a problem with that statement, especially as he's spot on, but there we go.

 

This is what happens during school holidays,little boys start lecturing adults about stuff they know nothing about.Don't you have some homework to do ? yes please do run along.

 

And the thing is Carra I've always maintained a good relationship with Norwich fans on 606 n then on here. Like you say tho everyone has that certain percentage of idiots turns out you must be one of norwichs clown most of them seem very pleasant

 

Things I've learned from this thread:

1 - Everyone has a story about Leeds' fans
2 - Leeds' fans are unhappy with their tarnished reputation
3 - Leeds' fans have a funny way of going about changing people's opinions
4 - Anyone who disagrees is an idiot

It's been an eye-opener.

In future, I will treat all fans of all clubs in the way I would wish to be treated. So let's reach across the country and have a big virtual man-hug.
