The fact is he hasn't been in the team because of injury(not his fault granted) while his teamates have been battlling relegation, so IMO it would be a bit disrepectful to the players who have been playing to big him up for the final few games as though we survived because he played the last 5 or 6 games.
The new UEFA rules are going to double the allowed loses over a three year period to €60 million and limit spending on Players Salary, Transfers and Agents fees to 70% of revenue as well as stopping cash injections from wealthy owners. The big clubs will have FIFA in their pockets to get out of any trouble that UEFA instigate. Is it only UEFA that has these rules? Do any other regional associations have similar?
