Although I could only listen to the match tonight, it sounds as if Lee had a woeful outing. The commentators were pretty damning of him and said he made zero contribution to the game and couldn't see what he would be able to offer in the Prem. There has been a lot of talk around his return from fans; "he will be like a new signing" etc. Found out already, or just ring rusty?

He's been out for a weeks, I wouldn't panic. We know he's got quality.

It was also Craig Burley saying he was rubbish, I wouldn't worry about his opinion too much. He probably isn't match fit, and he wasn't exactly getting a lot of help from others on the pitch, so I'm prepared to wait and see when he is playing in the first team and fully fit.

Agree Chilco!

I really didn't rate Lee last season. Didn't think he was what we were after, or needed. So naturally once Sharp got his run in the side, I was much happier.

However this season I do have hopes for Lee. I think his energy up front could be invaluable, especially when we're trying to close out matches. But yes, he does actually need to be playing up front for that, not out wide.

I can't wait for Gaston to be threading passes through for the pace of Lee and Mayuka to run onto. That combined with Rickie and JRod. Goals should not be a problem!
