There was an ex ref who got interviewed a year or so ago, and he confessed that he gave the likes of Man U the benefit of any doubt for fear of being demoted if he gave the wrong decision to a high profile team. He actually said that if you gave a game changing wrong decision against the likes of Wigan no one would care, but do the same against Man U or Chelsea, and it is headline news that puts you on trial by media..

Well done, the post started badly, built up to rubbish in the middle and ended up a pile of ****. <ok>

Sessegnon was sent off for less than Tiote did to Larsson in a previous derby.
Who did Sess do that too again?
    Oh yeah!
That renowned hard man Tiote who rolled around on the floor as if Mike Tyson had blindsided him.

If you watched the match you will have seen Probert having "words" with Cabaye constantly.
Were they talking about the weather?
Cabaye is one of the dirtiest sly foulers it has been my displeasure to watch.
If it had been Catts raking his foot down players achilles, I don't think the ref would just have had words, do you?
    Therefore double standard refereeing.
Larsson was provoking it and the ref knew what he was doing?
    Are you listening to yourself?
If I provoke someone , can they shoot me with impunity?

There hasn't been one decent officiating performance at SoL this season and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.

If the incident wasn't seen by the officials can this not be acted on retrospectively then. I know he gave a free kick but then he did not act on the retaliation

Totally confused on what warrants retrospective action me gil, they were on about the blatent attempt at distracting the keeper on a free kick on the talking noisy box at some point in the last 96hr blur of my life
