They have been in the play-offs for the last 3 years, if i was a neutral, i'd rather goto Cardiff than Leicester, Leeds or Forest.
In Leicester City fans eyes maybe but not anyone else's I would imagine, not mine anyway. Birmingham Blackburn Cardiff Leeds Forest Leicester All things equal (and assuming takeovers happen) a player becomes available for 1 million and all those teams want him, I know Leicester would be bottom of this list, if you deny that you are fooling yourselves. I believe Nigel will also have this in the back of his mind so I am slightly surprised he hasn't already moved to secure next seasons targets.
You must have incredibly short memories if you think Cardiff are bigger then us. And why wold anyone want to sign for Blackburn in their current state? Birmingham are broke And just because you and Forest a re having takeovers it don mean you will have money to burn like we do.
Peltier's a right-back and Henderson's a striker. So was Peltier playing out of position in the game you're on about?
I said all things equal meaning if one player was offered the same deal at all six clubs - Leicester would be their last choice... I wouldn't want a player coming to Leeds for the big pay day and putting in a half ass'd effort like the majority of the Leicester signings last season so I am not hoping that new Leeds owners are willing to break the bank for success and I don't believe Warnock would need them to.. The reason Leicester have to offer large pay days is because the players of the calibre you want don't really want to play for you and on the bigger than you front even LeicesterWizard agreed he would select Cardiff.
It depends who the players is. If its someone who knows one of the managers or his mates with quite a few of the players then it could all change.
Why don't you explain how you think you are a bigger club than Cardiff I'd say your on a par to be honest
Maybe I have the same opinion as LeicesterWizard - I just see Cardiff as a bigger club than Leicester and more chance of promotion - All things equal and now that they too have new financial backing. Leicester just do not have anything special, sorry this isn't me being a WUM it is just the way I personally see it. What is big and special about Leicester, a football team that will always live in the shadow of the rugby team no matter how much you will try and say that they don't.
If Cardiff offer the kind of wages we are, then players are likely to end up there, unless we are better geographically to family etc. Im glad we got Jamie Vardy before they had this "Red Dragon" cash injection. Although they seem to have changed the home kit, yet have not bid for anyone, maybe the cash injections just a lie to stop angry supporters.
Possibly, I think there's going to be trouble at Cardiff. Personally I think the owner's have promised this £100m investment for some unidentified point in the future based on their kit scheme somehow paying off.
Won more trophies, bigger fan base, played in the prem, played in Europe, can attract bigger names, better facilities, actually play in our own country Do you want me to go on? Now explain to me why Leeds are bigger then Wigan. Because I don't see how you are if I use the same criteria your using
What criteria may that be then as I don't remember stating one?? Look it is my honest opinion that if those six clubs being equal financially were all going for the same player Leicester would IN MY OPINION be the players last choice. Sorry if that offends you, like I said before, Leicester fans had better hope their squad is finalised and sorted swiftly or hope that the takeovers and cash injections don't happen otherwise you will lose out on more than a few targets. You are comparing Leicester to Cardiff before any of Cardiff's supposed cash injection filters through. Your structure, your last seasons results, attendances and everything about Leicester are already in place. Keep that in mind also when assuming a player would select Leicester first...
