I was watching the Martin Lewis money show where some woman gave her tips for getting cheap, cheap shopping. She goes at 3pm on a Sunday to Asda because between then and 3:30pm is when things are reduced. She was doing a full shop for less than £13 getting her meat and fruit/vegetables heavily reduced.
She's currently in hospital suffering from food poisoning.

She said people ask her all the time how she doesn’t suffer with food poisoning. She cooks all her meals straight away and freezes them. Stir fry, curries, chillis, etc.

I love it when we this happens.

My old friend Rheinhold gets excited at a few pennies off a steak pie at Morry Orry’s whilst Carmine plunders the ridiculously low priced stock of the Marfleet Bargain Centre.

‘But it’s out of date’ I hear you say.

So what.

Two packets of Belvita breakfast biscuits for a quid, I don’t even like ‘em but at that price I’ll eat the bastards.
Chicken jalfrezi reduced to £1.85 and wait for it
Raspberry cheesecake, two pieces, reduced from 2 quid to 5 pence. Five ****ing pence!!
Langer was sniffing around but no chance son.
Only one of the best days of my life

I liked your post because of your enthusiasm for the cheesecake deal , which in all fairness was commendable, and because we’re mates.

But let’s have it right....... you paid well over the odds for that poultry based ruby. A real pro would have got that for under a brick.

FACT.

I've just gone in the bin to check the full price. I'm not having it. £3.25 for that curry. £1.40 off. That's a win in anyone's book. LL was drooling when he saw my basket.

Another 12 hours and it would have been in the bin.

Lost your nerve there big man.

I'd got the cheesecakes first. I'd lost my head a bit after that success.

It’s sometimes best to have a wing man with you make sure you don’t make basic errors like this, what happened is akin to a fighter pilot suffering from the effects of G Force.

The cheesecake went to your head.

PS. I’ll be your wing man any day.
