They interviewed Lansdown on the HTV local news tonight and Lansdown was asked about Lee Johnson's future, his reply was he will be in charge tomorrow at Newcastle Tuesday against Villa and Saturday against Burton?? and after that we will have to listen to what the supporters say, Am I reading that correctly 3 games to save his job
I'm not a big fan of chopping and changing the Manager and in some ways Lansdown's loyalty to Johnson is admirable However even I'm starting to wonder if this loyalty is misplaced. For me the worrying thing is that we lost twice when 2-0 up and drew 3-3 when 3-0 up
And another game not winning after having a 2 goal lead. Looks like teams are now giving you a head start on purpose just to mock you because they know you still wont win
It is absolutely essential that Little Lee remains C*ty manager. A more spectacularly inept coach would be hard to find. He's spent millions building that team and quite frankly we could sweep them aside without hitting top gear. Tactically incompetent, they can't hold on to a lead and have as much spirit and fight as a clinically depressed sloth. He has to stay.
Their fans loved it when they signed Taylor thinking he will save them at our expense. Since Taylor has left us though, we havent lost a single game but they have dropped into the bottom 3. Also LJ keeps leaving Taylor on the bench which he has done for the last 3/4 games. Tammy has been injured so you would think Taylor would get a chance but no. LJ starts OAP Wilbraham instead Then he brings on Taylor when already losing but puts him out on the wing not where he is most effective. Best thing about that is Taylor is a confidence player based on goals. If he dont score he becomes useless so playing him on the wing basically means City is playing with just 10 men Do you think LJ is doing it on purpose to City to seek revenge on how City treated his dad when they got rid of him??
Not only for revenge on how they treated GJ, but also revenge on how they treated Little Lee himself when he was a player. The grudge runs deep with the Johnson's - and he's gonna have his pound of flesh!
I remember the saying very well when LJ was a player for them. Something along the lines of "I blame Lee Johnson"
I think he had 3 years already and they gave him another 1 year extension on top of that. Since then they cant get a win and gone from 4th to 22nd Its going to be expensive for them when they sack him. City fans keep saying that if LJ loves the club so much then why dont he leave but why would he leave when he knows that if he is sacked he gets a big pay off. Walk away and you get nothing. Loves the club my backside
With Bristol rugby doing so well there could be 2 relegations at Ashton Gate at the end of this season
LJ is a mug to of taken the job in first place a bit like that other mug Brian Tinnion who had a brick thrown threw his window thrown by his own fans
I agree. 3 teams will some how be worse than them. But the longer LJ stays in the job..... you never know what will happen
