The one you adore is the eighth best manager In Europe under forty according to himself. Thought we lacked leaders Saturday, we were not cosmic, lacked key performance arousal, so I got onto the science boys to crunch some data. They tell me its dna shows it eats up the grass and its got a lead, so i'm delighted to welcome a new face as we continue this journey together. Aggressive in our simplicity, it is the Ying and the Yang versus the release of the attacking players, quality and flare more importantly versus the steel. We go again. Are you stalking him Cliftonville and is that one of the haters he has on a lead? I'm sure there's a law against that
A couple of LJ Quotes ~ * “My assistant manager keeps telling me I have to get into meditation, to relax. I’ll meditate when I’m dead. In the meantime I’ve got to get promoted.” *“I want to win the Premier League,” he says. Could he do that with Bristol City? “I think so, yes.” He knows he will have to win promotion if he is to manage in the top flight. “I don’t think a Premier League club would look at me,” he says. “I don’t think English coaches are respected.
It is amusing to look back. There was so much of it. Last Lee Johnson philosophy from myself. We defended like Trojans. I thought we were magnificent between their second and third goals .
I don't actually think there is anything wrong with that, a bit optimistic I grant you .....but you want a new young manager to aim high in any capacity.. Kept us in the 2nd tier for 4 and half years, that was a start....laying the foundations....brought in our current manager..... Since LJ was brought to the club all of our expectations have been towards promotion rather than the usual of fearing relegation.. It's all good guys!!
Quick cursory read - BCFC made trading profits during Lee Johnson’s tenure. The club itself made operating losses due to increasing wages etc. The trading loss did not outweigh the operating losses. The club due to a loss of twenty four million had to sell players to realign itself with financial fair play regs to continue to lose money at a rate with the regulations. Stadium bills, structure etc are in Bristol City’s case structured under the umbrella owning company. The FC does not own the stadium so pays charges to the owner.
Not a wum, just an update on LJ and the Sunderland job, it looks like he is the favourite for the job https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/18921875.sunderland-speak-lee-johnson-head-coach-job/
I’ll believe that when he signs!! interesting that the other contenders are pulling out due to lack of control over transfers. That could make interesting ‘between the lines’ reading about our own setup.
Oh god now you've gone and done!! Not a good place to come if you want a honest answer!! But a fact for you..........Most successful manager we've had for over 40 years in terms of keeping us in the Championship... But you will get other BS comments on here because his Dad Gary picked him to play for us and some fans got upset (bless) so be aware
Left for dead ...... he could readily take you up this season! you are near the top seem to have some reasonable players … he got Barnsley to WEMBGLEE and left them in a good position which they capitalized on to get promoted to Championship. His name is not attached to either feats in the history books as he gave that up to join us! Did well for 4 years ….
As good as . We are mid takeover...cowley was also interviewed.. we have 4 **** strikers so good luck to em
He left us in a better position then when he joined, but failed his target of getting us in the playoffs . He has a tendency to either have long winning runs, but conversely long losing ones too. He can certainly talk a good game, and often talks complete BS. It’ll be interesting to see how he gets on if, as it looks likely, he gets the job.
