i think poyet is totally wrong for norwich - just gut feeling. larry (grayson) is not a contender in my eyes either - i feel his stock has fallen, despite taking the terriers up. as for malky, i agree with your points king of portman - though swansea and west brom are both pretty much sorted with jones and rangnick respectively. he'd be a punt but i don't think we should be going for a 'punt' at this time. i think we need someone who can maintain the progress that's been made. and the more and more i think about it, the more and more i think there is only one man for the job... chris hughton
Completely agree Supers regarding Poyet, he clearly has talent but it would be too soon for him to leave, he needs to learn his trade a bit more first (even though at the start of the week I said that about Lambert) I think Poyet has too much of an arrogance and the media circus that surrounds him even in the Championship reminds me a little of our Roy keane era. I have to say Hughton would be the obvious shout but I just wonder whether he would fancy a 3rd club in 3 years or if he just wants some continuity, there is always the likes of Curbishly although he hasn't managed for a long time
curbishley, no thanks. if sky are to be believed (and i don't usually) we've already approached cardiff for malky mackay.
should just add, i fully believe, and have done since he was a player with us, that malky mackay is destined to be a great norwich city manager. everything about the man always suggested that to me. i'm just a bit worried (and it is only a bit) that it's not the right time, but we shall see.
I think Hughton is probably a better manager tactically, but Malky would be better able to continue Lambert's ethos. Btw shouldn't you change your name to Superman wears Adam Drury/Russell Martin pjs in bed?
the name won't change! he's still a norwich legend, no matter what. plus, its a FACT that superman wears grant holt pyjamas in bed
