    I think he has the potential to be a very useful defensive midfielder but he needs guidance. Like Saylor used to, he plays with his heart instead of his head. This results in emotional tackles and it boils over. It doesn't help that the Mackems have useless central midfielders, the lack of drive and class seems to boil his piss. When they had Cana who was both a good footballer and driven, he was a lot better. He'll never be a world beater but with some decent players and a bit of guidance I think he could be effective.

    He is a little slow in the head though, even for a footballer

    I would play Guthrie ahead of him in the middle of the pitch. The lad has potential but is far too much of a liability. Like Bartonx5 (but half the talent).
