Wow you truly are dim. I was using the Rodwell analogy to prove that, despite playing in the premier league, he’s not good enough for the premier league. As Camp isn’t good enough for the championship. Or league 1!!

I’m pretty sure I would trust Chris Wilders opinion over some clueless idiot on internet. Jack Rodwell is more than good enough for the prem, his attitude is shocking mind.

I think he is honestly the worst keeper I think I’ve ever seen. He makes hard work of the easiest saves, his distribution is terrible and he doesn’t command his box at all. All them clean sheets were mainly down to the defence being solid, can’t really recall him having to make a good save. Also you just knew he wasn’t saving that penalty yesterday, all they had to do was get it on target. This problem needs rectifying in January (although I don’t expect parky to do it)

You cant tell me he's worse than Ruiter or Steele.
I do agree about him being poor though.

Is camp not currently playing for a championship team?? Don’t think I’m the stupid one lad.
And have you seen how he's performing? Not very well as usual. What good is it to the debate when playing at a higher level he's really ****ing ****. Ha ha! Hardly promotes your point. Funny though.

Camp was good before us and good after us but in a Sunderland shirt he was truly dire. No command of his box and way below par as a shot stopper. I'm sure he even managed to shrink while he was with us.

I've at least seen Burge make a few decent saves and apart from his opening day blunder he hasn't really put a foot wrong that I can remember.
Have you not seen his howlers since he left?

Jason Steele takes some beating aswell for the worst keeper ive ever seen wear our shirt.
I read that and thought "No he doesn't" - then finished the post and iot makes much more sense.

Isn't he at Brighton now - thus, once again, proving the point that you don't have to be good enough to play in a hugher league to be playing in said league!!.

I wouldn't play Steele in goal for my son's U16s team!!

And what's even more scary, is the fact thet he's apparently on £16k a week!! SIXTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS for possibly the worst goalkeeper I've ever seen play live bar the fat lad we used to stick in goal when I was a kid!!

not sure what games others have watched like but burge does not inspire confidence in his back line...been a few times a ball has 'gone through' and you would expect the keeper to claim it and there he is, stuck on his line, same with balls into the box, when he does decide to come for them he gets bounced back into his goal.

the odd expected decent save does not make him 'ok' either...not one person will say our current bunch of strikers are doing 'ok', even if they score the occasional match winning goal...i hardly expect any keeper to make 100% saves, an impossible task, but i do expect to feel 'comfortable' knowing they are our last line of defence, as things stand i expect any team that breaks our defence to score.

Bullshit. My mates son is far better and he’s from Aycliffe. Plays in the Russell foster youth league under 12s
And when he turns 16 and moves to Darlo he'll take Steeles crown. In the meantime Steele retains his crown on the technicallity that his superior is still a minor <laugh>
