That could be a factor, or maybe they are not offering Bowyer what he thinks he’s worth. At the moment it’s another example of hot air not being matched by deeds.

 

That was the problem last time, before Douchatelet gave in.

 

Tbh mate it's not like they've had a lot of time to sort his contract out.
They purchased the club in November and officially took over 2 1/2 weeks ago.
They've been busy the past 2 weeks buying all these players

 

and thinking up excuses for not buying the land at the Valley and Sparrows Lane!

My guess with the sale of the club and Bowyers contract is they come with lot of clauses.
One price for the club if we stay in championship and one if we top up back in league 1.
Southall has now dug a bit of a hole for himself though.
Bowyers contract should of been sorted in the 1st week and we should of seen a couple of players in by now the way Southall was talking

 

Been too busy meeting the upbeats, doing interviews and only just had time for a well deserved week in Abu Dhabi.
