I heard that someone was interviewed by TS today over Zoom. I don't know who it is but we are interested in Cowley.

 

Zoom? Why the bloody hell can this not be done face to face?

 

Convenience probably, but it's not a good thing in my opinion.

You can size somebody up much better in person than via a video link. But Zoom is the fashion these days. It's become something of an easy option.
Being a businessman with contacts all over the world I expect TS is used to using it.
But it's not my cup of tea.

I read an odd thing on CL last night that not one player has popped up on social media to wish Lee all the best in the future, or say thanks.
I don't do Twitter or Instagram, but if that's true, it does raise the suggestion that the dressing room weren't happy under him, and are glad he's gone.

 

The truth will out eventually.

I don't read social media either, but my impression is that not much at all has been posted by players for quite a while.
Maybe they are being discouraged from doing so by senior management (not Bowyer)?
Or maybe I'm just mistaken. As I say, I don't follow social media sites.

 

It was also noted that a lot of the players ran up after the game to hug JJ ,something I haven’t seen with Bowyer

 

In relation to the zoom meeting, Sandgaard will be flying over, so presume a face to face meeting will happen. I have heard a whisper that Nigel Adkins is in the frame. I hope not.

 

Nigel Adkins now joint favourite with Jacko. I have now come around to having Jacko to the end of the Season and then appointing a permanent Manager. Adkins has worked with Ged Roddy.

 

Bowyer just been confirmed as Brum Manager. Further staff to be announced later.
Cowley no longer in the frame for the Charlton job, looks as if he is on his way to Pompey.
