If we end up in the play offs Sandgaard should not bullet Bowyer should we not go up.

We'll see on Saturday if Bowyer's public criticism of Bogle has helped or not. It has spurred Morgan on to become a better player, and I doubted if it would. Maybe his public assessment of Aneke's lack of fitness will galvanise him too. That would improve our promotion prospects no harm.

If we don’t go up this season there’s more chance of you spending £10 on a Charlton match stream than Bowyer keeping his job.

Omar Bogle is done as far as I'm concerned.

He distracted Conor Washington when we were awarded a penalty against Gillingham.
And he got subbed after half an hour yesterday.
Has Bowyer ever had to do that before with any other player?

I really hoped when we signed Bogle that Bowyer could turn him around.
But he's a lost cause. I don't want to hear about him in a Charlton shirt again.

He is probably somewhat demoralised, as it is obvious that a good scoring target man is the January priority and he will automatrically be relegated in the pecking order.

That's not excusing him but it is not difficult to see why his head may not be right.

That's only because he's so limited, otherwise he could take the opportunity to show the manager that he has to start.

Bogle has had one good season in a near ten year career. For Grimsby Town, at a low level. His record speaks for itself. It’s not his fault, his signing was due to the circumstances that ESI left us in.

I thought Bowyer said he and SG been after Bogle for a long time?
Or was that another player. Can't quite recall.

I'd be a bit worried if LB & SG wanted him for our Championship squad in 2019-20...

Curbs used to say this whenever he signed a player, I wondered how much of it was a case of making the player feel wanted.

The supporters criticising Bowyer after the Burton game hopefully have changed their tune.

The supporters who are too tight to ever spend a £10 on a match thread might wish to reconsider.,

He's a very very good young manager. Human therefore fallible, but easily the best since Curbs. Is there anyone apart from Old Reamsy who doesn't rate him?

Some of the criticism of Bowyer from some quarters has been hysterical. Every team in the four divisions lose. But wanting Bowyer to be replaced after losing one in nine is ridiculous. I bet that fat buffoon from Wales is disappointed that Charlton won.

We have just won 2-0 away to one of our biggest rivals.

We are 3rd in the league with a game in hand.

And yet Reams starts this thread <laugh><laugh><laugh>

He has really got it in for Bowyer. He is too stupid to see that Bowyer's tactics worked as we won 2-0.

Ivor didn't like Powell either, he must have a thing about successful managers.
