Adkins tells Solent that he's been very impressed with Falque and might start him against Leicester. Also hopes to have Lee available against Millwall. Good news. COYR!

If we didn't appeal about Lambert the video evidence must have been either damning or unclear. No point in risking a further match ban, especially as we were occupied with getting Lee's permit. And we've won 2 games without the goalmeister already...three after Monday:smile: We might also say that we are getting other players into the game without a big target man!! Sounds good about Falque and at least Lee has been mentioned, so it's just red tape.

It would have been frivolous, I know, but at the end of the day its Millwall in the FA cup, & our next match is a biggy!
I doubt RL will get 90 minutes.....although I'm confident he will want 90 after his enforced break.

I'd make Ricky sit on the bench against Millwall. He can then take all his frustrations out on the bluebirds!

The reason Lee isn't here yet is the Japs are a tad slow getting the paperwork sorted there end. As soon as they file all the papers and what not, he'll be on his way. I assume they're nearly/are done with that. Moving half way around the world isn't a quick process.

Indeed, and it isn't as if he can pop back once a week to bring back a favoured t-shirt, or something. It's a big move, and he'll have to get a lot of personal stuff sorted, besides the official paper stamping.

It would be easy to get just any player. We are after top players, which means there is competition for their signature and their team doesn't want to lose them. We were massive in League 1 and could attract good players, but we're now after PL players. Despite our great position, they might prefer a team that are in the PL now. January is a difficult window as most teams are fighting for something.

Yeah im not moaning at the lack of transfers just that lee has taken 20+ days to complete. Surely this is a flaw in the system.

Also yeah i would like another player or two or three.

He's moving half way around the world FFS.

Also having up to another 3 would more than likely disrupt things. Too much change, too soon. Orange in Thailand comes to mind.

There is absolutely loads of admin to sort out for this - imagine if someone told you that you were moving to Tokyo next week. Plus there is all the football/transfer paperwork, for any international transfer the FA have to do various checks to make sure he isn't banned in another country or anything like that, which all takes time. I fear you may be disappointed on the additional transfers.
