I never thought I'd see another defender that could match Paul McGrath for his ability to read the game or for his 100% commitment. Then along came Leds, both players were of a gentle giant persuation and softly spoken, and both unfortunately suffered with chronic knee problems. Cheers Ledley
Piers Moron is indeed an immense bell-end of the first order, but I actually think he was trying to offer a compliment on this occasion. Mind you, still wouldn't piss on the twat if he was ablaze!!
If that's the closest he can get to complimentary, it's no wonder people were happy when Jeremy Clarkson lamped him...
When Campbell decided to leave this great club to play the staring role as Judas down the road., I was almost grief stricken. Friends of my then wife (who just happened to be couple of Jewish Sisters and season ticket holders at the Lane) and I got into conversation over a few drinks.. inevitably the topic of Spurs football dominated our talks. They listened intently to my concerns regarding the then eminent departure for Campbell. They then told me not to worry about the departure of Judas.... and when I asked why., they said 'there's a young lad coming through the ranks at the club, who is going to be even better..... His name is Ledley King' they said. I admit to have been a bit apprehensive about his development at first but they were right, Ledley King developed into the best central defender I have ever seen at this club. His presence on the field will be missed..
been away for a few days so couldnt comment on this article...... Ledley...Sir..you are our King. for Ledley
