If they wanted a significant payment for the documentary then I believe their motives even less.

There's lots about Jacko I don't like, including the whole skin bleaching and pretending he had some skin condition that forced him to do it (bollox!), but he was found not guilty in a court of law and two people making a claim now isn't enough to change my mind.

As for the timing of these allegation - 10 year anniversary of Jacko's death, a real impetus of public opinion for #metoo movement. They believe they can ride that wave and have trial by media.

Some of us had to endure listening to Mistletoe and Wine, we'll never win back the damage that did to our lives.

Just looked this up, looks like he got more damages than i realised. £400k from the police. £210k from the BBC, then a further £850k i think, and he's still taking them back to court for another 1.5 Million!

None the wiser ... if they had taken this to court only seeking money to cover legal costs they might have had me fully on board ...

I know this ... if anybody had abused my kids, no amount of money would redress the balance ... what sort of mother would allow her 7 year old kid to sleep in the same bed as a 34 year old bloke? ... I do have an answer to that <grr>

Conclusion - MJ - weird beyond weird - child abuser? ... as others have said, why just these 2 or 3 out of the many that stayed at Neverland? ... wasn't he tempted by the rest ... a characteristic of most *****s is that they can't help acting on their urges ...

    Who knows?

But he did have a skin condition, where you lose the pigment in your skin, it's called vitiligo (think ive spelt that right). For black skinned people it is awful psychologically, because you actually do turn white. It starts off as white spots, hence supposedly his white glove, but it progressively gets worse, with no cure. So he may well have resorted to bleaching to disguise the decease, although he didn't quite achieve the intention, but brought more attention on himself. He'd have been better off using cosmetics such as foundation type creams to match his skin colour.

I have known people with the condition. I may be wrong, but I'm not convinced it was serious enough for the actions he took, it was more of an excuse. For example the fact he straightened his hair and had continuous plastic surgery to alter his more traditional afro-caribbean traits. It comes across to me as all part of the same thing.

It's an interesting one, as people talk of things like 'white privilege', and plenty sit in the sun to change their hue, so it could be argued that turning white(r) would give advantages.

I don't know if they still exist, but there used to be products widely used to lighten skin, as darker skins among some cultures were/are a sign of lower class as it implied you were a field labourer.

Oh don't get me wrong, im not suggesting there were not other motives too. But it can have psychologically damaging affects. I was only speaking a few months back to an Asian woman who's child was bullied at school due to the condition. So in Jackson's case, white on black skin is very noticeable, and can be quite overwhelming for the mind, knowing the human nature of people staring or finger pointing, much the same as people who have suffered facial trauma.

I did find it sad, that Jackson didn't face up to his condition and help other sufferers, it would have been more beneficial to life, and his reaction to the condition sits uncomfortably with me.

The only sympathy I have is that no fcker ever turned him down. They all rinsed him for his money. Nobody said, nah mate any more nose jobs and you'll look like a chihuahua, I'm not prepared to butcher you any further.

Clearly Jacko had massive mental issues regarding self image and possibly self loathing, and nobody guided or helped him enough. But also, it doesn't mean we should try and make the reasons he did things as something else.

Absolutely Spurlock. Child allegations aside, it's a difficult condition to deal with. From what i believe it started on his hand(s) hence the glove - this would have been progressive and spread to the rest of his body, and more noticeable his face. He would have also have known other than cosmetic make up there is no cure. Hence he turned to skin whitening - now whether there was other undertones (no pun intended) to that, only he knows. The condition mainly affects black people, but can affect white people too. So he had a choice, I believe he could have helped others by facing up to his condition, but the pressures bestowed on him via celebrity status 'king of pop' makes humans go regrettable paths to avoid ridicule, albeit that happened anyway. Not sure if he ever donated to the charity...

Btw forgot to say Michael Jackson's autopsy also confirmed he had the decease. Some say the black and white song, was around this, although i couldn't actually find the condition in the wording of the lyrics. Although this picture on the set of black and white, may have held a clue...

Michael Jackson would **** a pup on a chain.
Bent as a U bolt, kids were easy prey for this ****er, especially those with dumb parents. He paid off dozens.
Pity his face didn't melt in public, Total toe rag, good riddance, may his plastic surgery dissolve into a hideous melange of make up and molten putty.
Musical genius in the body of a slimy piece of garbage.

Yeh black and white was about that. The line (iirc) "don't say you agree with me when I see you kicking dirt in my eye" is probably aimed at ppl like me :bandit:
