Well if you want to look at it like that Richard can just think my ticket pays a steward for the afternoon at the kcom . Pick a steward any steward.
That steward is providing for his family, food on the table, roof over crippled child’s head etc etc
Welcome back everyone

I take your point, Chazz, and while it may be flawed I was trying to take a principled stance on this given my view of the Allams. I don't expect anyone else to take it, I just saw attending home games as a tacit approval of their regime. I didn't want to be seen doing that, and I didn't want to be handing such a large sum of cash to them. A former (trusted) employee of Hull City under the Allams has told me that he thinks they'd be more than happy playing in front of an empty stadium so I don't know how useful such action is, but it's something that felt right to me.

They don't get it from pay on the gate and it's only a handling charge of 5% on the tickets they do sell (which it costs them in staffing/printing etc), so realistically, they get nothing from away ticket sales.

I thought a percentage was always given to the away team? Or is that only in the cups?
