    luvgonzo gabbled:

There's a lot of people who use the ignore function and then constantly log out so as to read what has been posted by the very person they wish to ignore.
It's a pity that you'll log out to read this and then not be able to reply in a vain attempt to appear that you don't really care.

    A great pity indeed

Must get tiresome logging in and out all day.
Anyway I don't think you can "gabble" when using the written word as it's to do with the speed of the speech as much as the content being nonsense. I'm pretty sure that's right.
Log out, look it up, log in and get back to me?

Just out of curiosity, are you aware you don't actually need to log out?

You can remove the ignore function, is there another way? Isn't it a bit of a **** ignore function if you can just see it?

    I see four possibly scenarios...

    1) she's telling the truth about having you on ignore and does log out

    2) she's telling the truth about having you on ignore but as a second window open where she's not logged in (so switching screens)

    3) what you suggested; taking you off ignoring you to see what you say

    4) she's not got you on ignore

I have never put anyone on ignore, not knowing if they were talking about me or not would drive me mad, plus the minds always makes situations out to be worse than they are. I'd much rather deal with them ;)

I think it's a useful function if someone has really got to you and you need a break, mental health is important in the modern world and it's great that not606 takes these issues seriously.

That was kind of my point but from the opposite angle. If someone as got to you so much that you felt the need to put them on ignore for your own sanity, imagine what mental state you'll get into when you mind runs away with what they could be putting...

Indeed, you could create a new sock account to read everything by the people that you ignore. I suppose that would work.

Seems a lot of effort to me, especially since it doesn't take a lot of effort to work out who a new sock account is...
