If you look at clubs like Leicester (who I appreciate have a significant amount more money than us), they've placed the whole academy and training site on one place. That's really good for future prospects to integrate with the first team. Alongside that, do we really want a training ground in such a built up area? If we do go back to the Premier League, won't the players want easier access than coming down Anlaby Road in rush hour traffic from their west Hull village or Leeds?

In terms of being in a position to attract high profile players, if we're competing against teams who can offer more money, our training grounds need to be in impressive surroundings. I don't see Walton Street as that. I think it needs to be outside the city boundaries, in a more open area where the club have access to more space if they want to expand in the future.

We shouldn't be and hopefully aren't seriously thinking about putting the academy around the stadium, we need a purpose build state of the art training centre that houses absolutely everyone and everything on one site. Something that local kids will see and aspire to and something potential incoming transfers see and want to be around day to day.

The land around the stadium needs developing and has for 20yrs, but it shouldn't be the above

Some people with that kind of attitude obviously don't want these good things to happen. I think a couple on here will be devastated if the stadium is developed for the good of everyone because they're so wedded to the idea that the evil council won't ever allow it.

The houses are absolutely massive inside, at one point most of the trawler skippers lived down there before the vermin moved in….
